Smark Out Moment

The latest round of tapings for WWE NXT were done on May 9th and 10th at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers of the results for the content during the tapings, which will appear on the next few episodes of NXT. WWE may choose to edit things differently, rearrange matches or add supplemental content.

TAPINGS FROM MAY 9th:

• Tommaso Ciampa cuts a promo on Johnny Gargano. Candice LeRae comes out to confront him about his change in demeanor and ends up slapping him.
• Lacey Evans defeated Brandi Lauren (formerly known as Ava Storie). Kairi Sane attacks Evans after the match, with Evans running away.
• Ricochet vs. The Velveteen Dream ends in a no-contest when Lars Sullivan interferes.
• Kona Reeves defeated Raul Mendoza
• Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeated The Undisputed Era 
• TM61 defeated Heavy Machinery
• Lacey Evans defeated Kairi Sane
• Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae have a promo segment. Tommaso Ciampa comes out for a brawl, which ends with Gargano being knocked into LeRae, who gets checked over by medics.
• Vanessa Borne defeated Steffanie Newell
• Lars Sullivan defeated Ricochet and The Velveteen Dream in a handicap match when The Velveteen Dream abandons Ricochet
• Kassius Ohno defeated Chad Lail
• War Raiders defeated two jobbers
• EC3 defeated Fabian Aichner.
• Johnny Gargano announces on commentary that he and Tommaso Ciampa will have a street fight at TakeOver: Chicago
• Kairi Sane defeated Lacey Evans
• Aleister Black cuts a promo and is interrupted by Lars Sullivan, who beats him down. Those two will fight for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Chicago.
• Shayna Baszler retained the NXT Women's Championship over Dakota Kai. Nikki Cross attacks Baszler after the match and issues a challenge for TakeOver: Chicago.

TAPINGS FROM MAY 10th:

• Shayna Baszler cuts a promo and calls out Nikki Cross, who comes out and the two brawl, with Cross coming out on top.
• TM61 defeated two jobbers
• Roderick Strong defeated Danny Burch
• Dakota Kai, Kacy Catanzaro and Steffanie Newell defeated Reina Gonzalez, Taynara Conti and Vanessa Borne
• Tommaso Ciampa cuts a promo and brawls with Johnny Gargano.
• Gentleman Jack Gallagher defeated Drew Gulak to qualify for the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament
• War Raiders defeated two jobbers. After the match, they called out TM61.
• EC3 defeated Kassius Ohno
• Heavy Machinery and Yanbo Wang/Big Boa defeated The Forgotten Sons
• Ricochet defeated Chris Dijak
• The Velveteen Dream and Ricochet have another promo against each other.
• Bianca Belair defeated Aliyah
• Aleister Black cuts a promo on Lars Sullivan and their match at TakeOver: Chicago. Sullivan comes out and beats him down.
• Pete Dunne retained the United Kingdom Championship over Kyle O'Reilly. After the match, The Undisputed Era brawl with Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, with The Undisputed Era running off.
