Universal Championship Hell in a Cell Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Braun Strowman

Well, I was going to say Kevin Owens or someone else screws Braun Strowman out of the match and that's WWE's way of keeping the belt on Reigns, making sure Strowman doesn't eclipse him in popularity, but also keeps him looking strong enough even though people will be annoyed that Reigns still got a pinfall victory on Strowman again, and the event will end in boos, but they'll try to think that that's because people will boo the heel interfering, rather than booing Reigns winning.

And then, Strowman turned heel, because "please cheer Roman."

So, instead, Reigns will simply beat Strowman with some help from The Shield and conquer the monster and everyone will boo or be too busy wrapped up in The Shield itself to crap on it too much, and then they'll continue to screw Strowman for the next year or so, saddle him with some dumb match at WrestleMania next year against Bobby Lashley or something, and that will be it.

Way to kill my interest in this, WWE, and make it significantly harder to defend why I watch anymore.

PREDICTION: Roman Reigns retains the title.

Mixed Tag Team Match: The Miz and Maryse vs. Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella

Nice! The next logical step is where they go, again. Fully in support of this...at least, from a storyline perspective. After watching Brie in the ring on Raw, I'm nervous about the quality of her section of the match.

PREDICTION: Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella win.

WWE Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe

Joe needs to win the championship here. That way, Styles can get his rematch at Super Show-Down and Joe can fight the universal champion at Survivor Series (Reigns) and fight Daniel Bryan at TLC.

PREDICTION: Samoa Joe takes the title.

Raw Women's Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Alexa Bliss

Standard rematch with Bliss "revoking" her rematch clause, as she put it. This was the most obvious, easiest way to go. I'm not surprised at all.

PREDICTION: Ronda Rousey retains.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. Rusev Day

Very surprised this title shot is going to Rusev Day, but since they've already announced The Bar getting a shot at Super Show-Down, I guess it makes sense. Also, that means The New Day are keeping the belts so that the Super Show-Down match can happen.

PREDICTION: The New Day retains the titles.

Hell in a Cell Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton

Eh...this could be neat, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

PREDICTION: Randy Orton wins by pinfall.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Becky Lynch

It'll be interesting to see if WWE ignores the cheers Becky will get, like they've done before.

PREDICTION: Becky Lynch wins the title so they can do a rematch at Evolution.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

So...this is one of those situations where I have to assume the champions will keep the belts, so that Reigns can keep his title, and Super Show-Down will have two belts on each side of the six-man tag team match. Basically, WWE is overbooking things and doubling up on a feud for two events that are happening too quickly in relation to each other, and it would potentially have been better to just have one event with a combined card rather than...eh...I'm rambling. The point is, Braun Strowman shouldn't have turned heel (hahaha).

PREDICTION: The champions retain through some sort of shenanigans.

PREDICTED MATCHES (as of 9/11/2018)

Intercontinental Championship Match

Since Rollins is already involved in the tag team match, he's not going to be defending the title here.

PREDICTION: TBD

United States Championship Match

Well, I guess this belt doesn't matter to WWE, as nothing has happened with trying to set up a feud for Nakamura not only here, but also at Super Show-Down. That's crazy...

PREDICTION: TBD

Cruiserweight Championship Match

Not happening.

PREDICTION: TBD

Andrade "Cien" Almas vs. R-Truth

This could end up being added to the card, or it can be another mixed tag team match involving Carmella and Zelina Vega, or it can just be Zelina Vega vs. Carmella.

PREDICTION: TBD

Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley

Surprised this wasn't announced for the pre-show.

PREDICTION: TBD
