The first round of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament began airing this week from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers of the results which transpired during the original tapings from June 23, 2016. There is a chance WWE will edit things differently.

  • Gran Metalik defeated Alejandro Saez
  • Ho Ho Lun defeated Ariya Daivari
  • Cedric Alexander defeated Clement Petiot
  • The Brian Kendrick defeated Raul Mendoza
