Future Endeavors: Tony Briggs (Brian Reid) and More Released from WWE

Posted by Anthony Mango Friday, April 24, 2015
WWE has announced that two NXT performers have been released. They are Tony Briggs (real name Brian Reid) and developmental trainee C Denzel Freeman, who had never wrestled in front of a live crowd. The former, Briggs, was a jobber using sparingly.

I didn't see this coming. Why? Because I don't know who these two are! Many people try their hand at sports entertainment and it turns out that they just aren't a good fit and these two look like they fall into that category. Hopefully, they'll find their calling elsewhere in some capacity.

UPDATE: WWE has also released a few other members of the developmental system, including Dustin Mueller, Laszlo Vandracsek, Leyvonna Zakari and Courtney Freeman.
