WWE Night of Champions 2015 PPV World Heavyweight Championship Match

[WWE World Heavyweight Championship]: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sting

Sweet! I was worried we'd get three Cena matches culminating in a Hell in a Cell, so I'm totally on board with Sting being in this match instead. I don't expect him to win the title by any means, but that doesn't mean this won't be a fun ride. This has a lot of potential to be massively overbooked and end the pay-per-view on a sour note in one way or another, so I hope WWE knows what they're doing.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins retains.

WWE Night of Champions 2015 Divas Title Match Charlotte vs Nikki Bella

[WWE Divas Championship]: Nikki Bella (c) vs. Charlotte

If I were doing things, this would have been a triple threat match that also involved Sasha Banks, who is being grossly overlooked since moving to the main roster. Since Nikki has surpassed the record, she no longer needs to hold the title, so Charlotte is the easy victory here. I'm not super fond of the way she's been performing over the past couple months, and I'd rather have Becky Lynch in this role, but Charlotte was the obvious favorite of PCB from the beginning, so I'm not surprised. In fact, I'd be so utterly shocked if Charlotte didn't win the belt here that I wouldn't know what to do.

PREDICTION: Charlotte via submission.

WWE Night of Champions 2015 US Title Match Cena vs Rollins

[WWE United States Championship]: Seth Rollins (c) vs. John Cena

Originally, I thought Cena would get a rematch and then another match at Hell in a Cell. With Sting's announcement, I still think this is going to happen. How? Well, I called the whole double duty thing with Rollins defending both titles, but I don't think that will happen two events in a row. Cena could win the U.S. title back and then challenge for the world title or Rollins could retain both and still end up having some kind of a match against Cena, but he'll definitely not be fighting Sting at Hell in a Cell, so Cena seems the most likely option for the HIAC match no matter how things go down.

PREDICTION: I'd like to think Seth Rollins just retains here and the title goes away.

WWE Night of Champions 2015 Baron Corbin Shield Braun Strowman Wyatt Family

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Braun Stowman vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & ???

Who will be the third member of team Shield? Supposedly, a graphic was put up with Baron Corbin in that "mystery partner" spot. If that's true and Corbin does join The Shield (at least for this night), I didn't see it coming even though I was endorsing him as a choice on an article I wrote recently. If it's not Baron Corbin, I really don't know who else it could be. It won't be The Rock for a one-off appearance, as Sting is already on the card and that's two big names competing for the spotlight. If it's a name like Mark Henry or Randy Orton, meh. If it's a repackaged person like Jack Swagger, that will come out of left field. I'm up for Corbin, even though he's not the most seasoned guy on the roster.

On the 9/7/2015 edition of Monday Night Raw, they had Randy Orton talking to Reigns and Ambrose backstage, but he was attacked by The Wyatt Family later on. This should continue with R-Truth and Mark Henry getting attacked on SmackDown and Raw respectively for associating with Reigns and Ambrose. Then, the SmackDown before Night of Champions, everyone is purposely avoiding Reigns and Ambrose, and it seems like they're left on their own, but then bam, either Rowan or Corbin (or someone better than those two options) comes in at the pay-per-view to much fanfare.

PREDICTION: The Shield wins.

WWE Night of Champions Lana Ziggler Rusev Summer Rae match

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev

It's a shame Lana was injured and this can't be the mixed tag match that should've happened at SummerSlam to end the feud then. Hopefully, this is given some sort of stipulation that justifies why it was stalled and dragged out to this point.

PREDICTION: Ziggler wins and maybe he breaks up with Lana so we can move on.

WWE Night of Champions 2015 Dudley Boyz vs New Day

[WWE Tag Team Championship]: The New Day (c) vs. The Dudley Boyz

I'm a big fan of The Dudley Boyz getting this title shot, as they're something fresh in the division that we haven't seen in a long while. They were never my absolute favorite team of all time, but I think they're a huge boost to the program and working with The New Day should be something very interesting. There's a chance for either team to walk away with the belts. I'd prefer it to stay on The New Day, but I can't say I'd be too terribly upset if The Dudley Boyz won them.

PREDICTION: My bias might be blinding me, but I think The New Day retains.

WWE Night of Champions 2015 IC Title Match Owens vs Ryback

[WWE Intercontinental Championship]: Ryback (c) vs. Kevin Owens

I'd be okay with Kevin Owens taking the belt off Ryback, even though I like Ryback. Basically, it's not a criticism against Ryback so much as it is an endorsement of Owens for champion. I could see this being a situation where Ryback retains, Kevin Owens beats him at Hell in a Cell, and they're on opposite sides of the Survivor Series teams before moving on to separate feuds.

PREDICTION: Ryback retains...this time.

WWE Night of Champions 2015 PPV Pre-Show Kickoff Match

[Pre-Show Kickoff Match]: Stardust (with The Ascension) vs. Neville (with The Lucha Dragons)

A couple weeks ago, I totally called this. *Pats self on back*. Okay, now that we're done with the gloating, I'm actually into this. You should all know by now that my other website, Fanboys Anonymous, is all about movies and comics and such, so if you build something around the superhero genre like what these guys are basically doing, I'll naturally find it at least somewhat interesting.

PREDICTION: The Cosmic Wasteland comes out on top.

PREDICTED MATCHES (as of 9/14/2015)

Notable Stars Currently Unaccounted For: Big Show, Cesaro, Kane, Mark Henry, The Miz, R-Truth, Randy Orton, Sheamus
