Our pre-show panel, of course, consists of Renee Young, Byron Saxton, Booker T and Corey Graves, who are oddly enough outside the building. This is a different look and I dig it. Speaking of looks, obligatory "Renee Young looks amazing" comment. Tom Phillips is hanging out in the social media lounge (which is inside—he gets to stay out of the heat). [Pre-Show Kickoff Six-Man Tag Team Match]: Cosmic Wasteland vs. Neville & The Lucha Dragons

So they're not referring to Stardust and The Ascension as The Cosmic Wasteland during introductions? That's disappointing.

RESULTS: Cosmic Wasteland via pinfall (Stardust pins Neville with the Queen's Crossbow)
THOUGHTS: Decent opener. Good pacing, outside of the commercial break, and I'm glad that Stardust and The Ascension won, as they needed it.

Backstage, The New Day are answering Twitter questions. They say the Save the Tables campaign saves the world (you use less trees to build more tables, which helps with the oxygen levels). How can you not love these guys?

[Intercontinental Championship Match]: Ryback (c) vs. Kevin Owens

I don't know if this was an instance of Ryback being legitimately hurt and talking too loud, or just playing things up, but he's holding his elbow and flat out said "referee, my elbow!" Owens is also kind of stalling. We might have an injury here.

RESULTS: Kevin Owens via pinfall with a roll-up
THOUGHTS: Fan of the outcome, match was decent, and I just hope Ryback isn't screwed going forward.

Backstage, Rich Brennan attempts to talk to Rusev, who doesn't want to really speak outside of saying he'll take care of Ziggler. Brennan points out that Summer Rae is wearing the earrings that Ziggler gave to her and she leaves.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev

RESULTS: Dolph Ziggler via pinfall (after Summer Rae accidentally threw her shoe at Rusev, allowing Ziggler to hit the Zig Zag)
THOUGHTS: Please, please tell me this feud is over with.

[Tag Team Championship Match]: The New Day (c) vs. The Dudley Boyz

♫ Like a good table, New Day is there ♫ These guys better retain. LOL @ Jerry Lawler calling Xavier Woods Rufio (ala Hook). I knew his new hairstyle looked familiar.

RESULTS: The Dudley Boyz via disqualification (after Xavier Woods interfered)
THOUGHTS: I'm disappointed that I'm losing points in my Fantasy League team by having The New Day lose the match, but I'm glad that they've retained here. The match was fun, as expected.

[Divas Championship Match]: Nikki Bella (c) vs. Charlotte

Mike Chioda held the title upside down. Let's make fun of him.

RESULTS: Charlotte via submission with the Figure 8
THOUGHTS: Not bad. Sasha Banks and Bayley are above and beyond what this match was, but this was good and I'll give them credit. I was kind of hoping for an interesting turn with Paige, which I feel would have been more exciting, but I'm okay with this.

Backstage, JoJo talks to Kevin Owens. He says he feels complete now that he has a title again. It's no "secret" just how great he is.

The Wyatt Family vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Chris Jericho

A fan just tried to get into the ring. Why is this happening so much lately?!

RESULTS: The Wyatt Family via submission (Strowman over Jericho)
THOUGHTS: Wow, I did not see Jericho being the third man, nor did I see this team losing. I don't know exactly how to process this quite yet, but I'm very intrigued and I think Strowman looks great coming out of this.

[United States Championship Match]: Seth Rollins (c) vs. John Cena

RESULTS: John Cena via pinfall
THOUGHTS: Saw this coming. My Fantasy League team hates this, as I have Seth Rollins on it, but I'm not surprised in the slightest bit. The match was pretty decent, but nothing super impressive.

[WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match]: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sting

RESULTS: Seth Rollins via pinfall (roll-up)
THOUGHTS: WOO! Interesting story being told here with Sting going through the table and Rollins being a somewhat respectable opponent. Now I just hope this is the end of my review and I don't end up saying Sheamus cashes in successfully.

Damn it. Here's Sheamus's music. Oh wait, Kane's back and in the mask. Damn it, he chokeslammed Rollins. Oh, wait, he chokeslammed Sheamus, too.

HIGH SPOTS

+ Kevin Owens wins Intercontinental Championship
+ Braun Strowman beats Chris Jericho
+ Seth Rollins doesn't lose the title to Sheamus

LOW BLOWS

- My Fantasy League team scores :(
- Dolph Ziggler vs Rusev went down as expected
- Chris Jericho is the mystery partner

CRITIQUE RATING SCALE: 3-COUNT PINFALL (good)

Reasoning: Overall, this pay-per-view was rather impactful, wasn't it? The matches were good, the outcomes were either shocking or justified in a way that would make a lot of potentially awesome changes take place in the future, and I enjoyed it top to bottom.
