Smark Out Moment

It appears as though the releases that were suspected to come in the fall...then suspected to be "right before WrestleMania"...then "spring cleaning" have officially begun, finally.

Michael Tarver and Jacob Novak have been released.

Tyrone Evans (Michael Tarver's real name) recently tweeted that he changed his handle for Twitter because "Michael Tarver" is owned by WWE. I had a feeling that that spelled doom would come sooner than later. I guess I have to edit that out of my upcoming Saturday Smack Talk post.

Jacob Novak has the unique distinction of being the first person eliminated from both seasons of NXT that he took part in. Ouch.

My thoughts? Both of these guys were on my list of people I thought would be released, so I'm not surprised at all. Neither of them seemed like they were going to be pushed. It was a matter of time.
