NXT Year-End Awards
Battle Royale to determine #1 contender for NXT Women's Championship

Eva Marie, Cameron, Asuka, Carmella, Emma, Deonna Purrazzo, Billie Kay, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Peyton Royce and Aliyah are in this match. The match first had Asuka seemingly win the match as she was alone in the ring until Eva Marie appeared out of nowhere to push Asuka out of the ring as she looked to be the winner, much to the dismay of many a fan. But Carmella did the same thing and got Eva Marie out of the ring, over the top rope, to officially become the new #1 contender to Bailey's NXT Women's Championship.

Speaking of Bailey, she won the NXT Female Competitor of the Year as well as the match of the year she had with Sasha Banks at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. Congratulations to both of these women. They really deserved it.

Not exactly that best week of matches in WWE for the women, but the storyline now seems to be pointing towards a Becky Lynch and Charlotte match at the Royal Rumble. If they give these two sufficient time, we should be in for a treat. Rumor has it that Santana Garrett, a well-known indy wrestler, is joining WWE after competing in the most recent set of NXT tapings. She is a great wrestler and I am excited to see her match in the future. There has been rumors of her possibly taking the role of Sister Abigail among the Wyatt Family. It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the coming months and if this were to happen, that would make the Wyatts an even bigger threat as a heel stable.

So there you have it, the breakdown for the week in women's wrestling. What were some of your favorite and least favorite moments from these women? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
