WWE Night of Champions 2012 Spoilers
WWE Night of Champions 2012 PPV - Every championship is defended. Who will participate in the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Divas Championship, and Tag Team Championship matches? Will there be any other non-title matches on the card? Here are my predictions for the pay-per-view.

Check back for Night of Champions 2012 results and review coverage here.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV WWE Championship John Cena vs CM Punk

WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. John Cena
It makes perfect sense to do this match and although it was predictable, just because something is predictable doesn't mean that's bad. You go into a superhero film expecting the villain to lose, you watch a roller coaster ride before you get on it and know what loops there are, etc. I'm a big fan of how they introduced the idea that Punk hasn't been in the main event. Not only does it draw attention to that and give it some meaning whilst propelling the storyline forward, it also gets them out of a conundrum. You see, every pay-per-view this year, the WWE title hasn't been the last match, but this time around there's nothing else that can fill that spot, so rather than just awkwardly doing it and not calling attention, they've given a reason for it. THIS is what WWE should be doing all the time. The match has the potential to be quite decent as well, and the outcome is something everyone's going to be wondering about as it has big implications for the Rock's presence at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

PREDICTION: CM Punk retains via cheating.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV World Heavyweight Championship Alberto Del Rio vs Sheamus

World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio
UGH. Enough of this! I was sick of it months ago. I don't think these two have great chemistry together and I have been bored with their feud in terms of storyline as well. I don't want to see this match at all. I'm actually hoping it lasts shorter than the Daniel Bryan WrestleMania match, even though I know it won't. I would have rather had Orton against Sheamus, or Big Show, or a bunch of people...just not this, again. Even if Orton gets involved in some way, I still don't have any interest in watching Sheamus and Del Rio continue their feud on Raw or Smackdown to build up to the ppv. Stay far away from each other for a while!

PREDICTION: Sheamus retains via Cloverleaf or White Noise, then gets cashed in on by Ziggler.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV Divas Championship Layla vs Kaitlyn

Divas Championship: Layla (c) vs. Kaitlyn
This match doesn't make much sense, but that's because they haven't done anything with the division in such a long time. Now, while I'm a fan of them not particularly using the divas in a wrestling capacity as much (because I'd rather see no divas than waste time with them performing horribly), it's a shame they couldn't use Karma to really give them a boost. The Knockouts are so much better, as I continually say, and it sucks that WWE can't just follow TNA's mold in that regard. This seems to be the byproduct of them realizing they have every title defended and not wanting to put any thought into it, so they just decide Kaitlyn gets a shot as they like her at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Kaitlyn wins the title here. Why? Two reasons. First, Kaitlyn is something different and they could always just go with that for the sake of changing it. Second, Kaitlyn has ties to AJ and with her GM role, they probably won't be able to resist the chance to have AJ talk to her while she's the new Divas champ. This match should be absolutely terrible - a possible worst match of the year. Rumor has it that Kaitlyn wasn't even supposed to win the match (which if that's the case, how the hell did they botch that?) and that either Eve could be placed into this match or she'll take Kaitlyn's spot entirely.

PREDICTION: Layla wins if it's solo against Kaitlyn. Eve wins if she's involved.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV Tag Team Championship R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs Kane and Daniel Bryan Team Friendship

Tag Team Championship: R-Truth & Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan (Team Friendship)
I really wanted to see them do a match with lots of tag teams (Usos, International Airstrike, Epico & Primo, etc). This is interesting, but I hope they don't just use this as a means to put the titles on Daniel Bryan and Kane and then forget about the tag team division. I'm still holding out hope that maybe, just maybe, they'll do this multi-team match at Hell in a Cell and this match will end with Team Friendship breaking up and that storyline being over with.

PREDICTION: WWE more than likely will give the titles to Kane and Daniel Bryan.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV Dolph Ziggler vs Randy Orton

Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton
This is the match that needs to save the card from being a total waste of time. It has the potential to be the best match of the night as these two work well together. I'm definitely looking forward to it, no matter which person comes out with the win.

PREDICTION: Randy Orton wins.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV YouTube United States Championship Battle Royal Pre-Show

YouTube Pre-Show Battle Royal - #1 Contender to the United States Championship / versus Antonio Cesaro
Tell-tale sign that they don't know what they're doing. They've floundered with the United States title ever since giving it to Santino. They can't even give Antonio Cesaro a decent character and he's supposed to be the one pushed. Awful. At least Battle Royal matches are fun, but keep in mind, this is the YouTube pre-show, so the likelihood of me actually being able to watch it is slim to none. The channel will screw up or something.

PREDICTION: It comes down to Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Tyson Kidd, or hell maybe Sin Cara that will win this match. Nobody that wins will probably win the title, though. Antonio Cesaro beats whomever wins it anyway.

Watch Night of Champions 2012 PPV Miz vs Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes IC Title

Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes
So THAT is the multi-man match. Ok. I knew there was going to be one of them, and the battle royal didn't seem to fit that criteria to me. The Miz should come out on top here, probably by pinning Sin Cara so as to not make Rey look weak. This could be a really good match if they let it have time and the masked men aren't in a botching mood.

PREDICTION: The Miz.

PREDICTED MATCHES
I don't think any more matches will be added to the card.
