YouTube Pre-Show: United States Championship #1 Contendership Battle Royal
I'm actually watching this pre-show, so I'll update this when I can for you all. One of the contestants is Ted DiBiase. He must be healthy enough to perform (particularly in a top rope situation). Right off the bat, Heath Slater is ganged up on by everyone and eliminated. Good spot with Tyson Kidd being power bombed out of the ring by Tensai. The final 4 are the Prime Time Players, Tensai, and Zack Ryder. PTP go out. Tensai is eliminated by Zack Ryder when he reverses another power bomb attempt into a hurricanrana.

WINNER (and new #1 contender to the US title): Zack Ryder
Good opening. Battle royals are always fun.

Michael Cole starts the ppv off by giving us an update on Jerry Lawler. He's going home this week, doing much better, and thanks all his fans. Replacing Jerry Lawler on commentary tonight is JBL.

Intercontinental Championship [Fatal Four-Way]: The Miz (c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Sin Cara
Miz comes out to cut a promo before the others are introduced. Miz says the night is supposed to be all about him since he's a champion, but he's the only champ that has to defend his title against multiple challengers. After he wins, he'll put in an official complaint. Rey Mysterio goes to give his mask to a kid, who starts bawling with fear. LMAO.Sin Cara's got new ring gear (looks more like Mistico). Slow, obvious botch with Mysterio jumping over the top rope into a hurricanrana to Cody Rhodes. Another botch with Mysterio kicking out of Sin Cara's sunset flip pin attempt. JBL's running down the Miz because of his Real World background. Cody botches a Beautiful Disaster kick and forecasts it. Suicide Dive from Sin Cara onto Miz, oddly enough not botched from what I could tell. He follows it up with a nice corkscrew flip onto Miz from the outside into the ring. Cody and Miz get set up for the 619. Cody escapes, Miz gets hit. Mysterio splashes Miz. Cody removes Rey from the ring. Cody goes for the pin instead. Sin Cara breaks it up. Sin Cara goes to put a Sin Cara mask onto Cody as an insult. Miz stops that but only gets a two-count. "How many masks do these guys have?" - JBL.Sin Cara puts his duplicate mask on Miz. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Cody and retains.

WINNER: The Miz via pinfall.
Good match, not as many botches as I expected.

Backstage, the Prime Time Players are complaining about their lack of a tag team match to Eve Torres. Eve gets alerted that someone attacked Kaitlyn from behind. Her ankle is fucked up. Eve assuredly will end up replacing her.

Recap of the anger management segments.

Tag Team Championship: Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (c) vs. Kane & Daniel Bryan (Team Friendship)
Lots of double-teaming from Kofi and Truth, primarily to showcase how they're an in-sync tag team in comparison to Kane and Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan starts pushing Kane, who pushes back. The fans are chanting "hug it out". Daniel Bryan calls for a hug. Looks like Kane's nose might be bleeding. Kane and Bryan hug it out (to a pop from the crowd). Kane saves Daniel Bryan from a Trouble in Paradise. "What are you doing?" "He was gonna kick your head off!" Kofi jumps to the outside on the two of them. Daniel Bryan back in the ring is able to put Kofi in the No Lock, but only momentarily before Truth breaks it up. Fans boo. Kane tags himself in. Bryan is pissed. Kane goes to the top rope and Daniel Bryan hugs Kane's leg to keep him from being thrown off by Kofi Kingston. Bryan throws Kane off the top rope. He lands onto Kofi and they win the titles.

WINNERS (and new tag team champions): Daniel Bryan and Kane via pinfall.
Ridiculous...but funny. I really hope they don't screw this up.

Post-match, Kane and Bryan are yelling at each other that they solely are the tag team champion(s). Random fire. Hahahaha. Everyone, watch that when you get a chance.

Backstage, Eve Torres, Booker T, and Teddy Long are talking about how "every championship must be defended" and how Eve should replace Kaitlyn.

Cole and JBL talk about breast cancer awareness. Why they're not talking about this during the October pay-per-view, if that's the month dedicated to it, I don't know. Oh well.

United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Zack Ryder
Cesaro cuts another generic 5-language promo, saying the match is unfair. Cesaro starts off by rubbing Ryder's face into the mat. JBL calls Cesaro "The Swiss Superman". Good nickname. Shame nobody knows who the hell he is for the most part. Cesaro jumps on Ryder's stomach twice. Cesaro tosses Ryder up and uppercuts him. Ouch. That looked kind of rough. JBL naturally finds it hilarious. Aksana lays down on the ring apron for some reason temporarily. I guess that'll be part of her gimmick with Cesaro. Ryder starts fighting back. Sign in the crowd of Cesaro for European Champion. Broski Boot avoided because of Aksana. Cesaro hits another uppercut, then his finisher The Neutralizer.

WINNER: Antonio Cesaro via pinfall.
Meh, ok. They need to give Cesaro more than this horrible gimmick and a terrible valet.

It's about time for a COMMERCIAL on the pay-per-view.

Backstage, David Otunga and Alberto Del Rio yell at Ricardo for not having his neckbrace on. They call him stupid.

Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler
Vickie Guerrero wants everyone to stand up and show their respect for the FUTURE champion, Dolph Ziggler. Some good wrestling so far (not surprised). Nothing crazy going on, just solid wrestling. Ziggler is the best at selling, isn't he? Boos for Orton, cheers for Ziggler. Orton gives Ziggler his DDT on the outside using the barricade. Ziggler is able to put his foot on the ropes after the pin attempt. Ziggler escapes an RKO attempt and ends up in the sleeper hold. Orton picks him up and gives him an RKO. Very nice.

WINNER: Randy Orton via pinfall.
Good match. It wasn't a 5-star classic, but it was still good. This pay-per-view's been a lot better than expected in my opinion.

Divas Championship: Layla (c) vs. Eve Torres
Layla hits a better pin reversal than she's been doing lately, but naturally comes up with a two-count. Dead crowd. Not surprised. At least this will be better than Kaitlyn vs Layla, but that's not saying much. Is Michael Cole a face here, asking why Eve Torres deserves the title shot? Eve puts Layla in a scissor lock. Layla horribly pretends to cry. Layla does that horrible turnbuckle rope bounce move. My God I hate that. Eve hits a neckbreaker and wins the title.

WINNER (and new Divas champion): Eve Torres via pinfall.
Crap. Expected. Now Eve will have a rematch against Layla and beat Kaitlyn over the next few weeks as well.

Rock and Cena dvd commercial.

Breast Cancer Awareness commercial. Mood killer.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is saying "I am the tag team champions" to everyone, including AJ. He bumps into Dr. Shelby. Kane comes out, having been doing the same thing. AJ flips out, asking why they can't be happy for each other. Daniel Bryan congratulates Kane. Kane leaves, then comes back to dump water on Daniel Bryan and say he's going to Disney Land.

World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio
Did I just hear the "feed" from Ryback's theme pop up momentarily in Del Rio's entrance? Before the match starts, Booker T comes out. He says the Brogue Kick is devastating however it's not illegal anymore. Sheamus smiles. Del Rio flips out. Match starts with Sheamus giving a Brogue Kick to David Otunga. JBL says ADR - reference to having the same character? Del Rio works on the arm of Sheamus (makes sense). Del Rio gets a two-count from a backstabber. Sheamus goes for the Texas Cloverleaf, but Del Rio fights out of it before he can put him in it. Del Rio has the armbreaker on. Sheamus picks Del Rio up and slams him down to get out of it. Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick and Del Rio locks in the armbreaker afterward. Sheamus is about to tap out but reaches the ropes. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick.

WINNER: Sheamus via pinfall.
I really, really hope they don't have any more matches together for a long time. Like, two years.

WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. John Cena
Paul Heyman promo to start. Heyman is here to pay respect to the title and the champ, CM Punk. Boos for Cena, of course. Punk just holds up the title for a really long time, smiling. He better win, haha. Cena's leg being worked on is a story focal point. Cena's dad is in the crowd. You know he'll play some part here. Punk blows a kiss to the crowd and gets a baseball slide from behind because of it. Cena throws Punk over the barricade next to his family. This is slow. Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and Punk puts his boot up to block it. Anaconda Vise. Cena reverses into the STF. Punk locks in a crossface. Cena picks him up and suplexes him to get out of it. Punk goes for the GTS. Cena puts Punk in the STF instead. Punk hits the GTS, Cena kicks out. Cena slams Punk, hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle, then the Attitude Adjustment, but only gets a two-count. Cena misses the leg drop. Punk kicks Cena in the head. Two-count. Punk hits another GTS. Cena kicks out again. CM Punk hits a Rock Bottom on John Cena for another two-count. Cena hits another AA, but Punk kicks out. Cena hits a German Suplex off the ropes and wins? WTF?

WINNER (and new WWE champion): John Cena via pinfall.
Uh...what?

Wait a second. Now they're saying that both shoulders were down. The match is ruled a draw instead, so CM Punk retains.

STILL WWE Champion: CM Punk via draw.

Post-match, CM Punk hits John Cena with the title belt.

HIGH SPOTS
1. Overall good matches
2. Funny but not stupid for the most part
3. Kid crying at Mysterio

LOW BLOWS
1. Divas match
2. Del Rio vs Sheamus
3. Commercials

CRITIQUE RATING SCALE: 3-COUNT PINFALL (Good)
Reasoning: Fun matches. Not all amazing or anything, but all good enough to warrant a 3.
