Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?
Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:
NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

The 5-Way Ladder Match to crown an Interim WWE Women's Champion shaped up further this week, with Chelsea Green earning a spot by beating Kiana James on SmackDown.8. Finn Balor [NR]
SmackDown's main event determined who would fight Sami Zayn at SummerSlam to become the top contender for the WWE Men's Championship. It was Finn Balor who outlasted Damian Priest, Trick Williams and Royce Keys to secure that opportunity.7. Cody Rhodes [NR]
Speaking of the WWE Men's Championship, the current number one contender Cody Rhodes teamed with the champ CM Punk to a victory over Gunther & Sami Zayn at Saturday Night's Main Event.6. Kendal Grey [-5]

For the second straight time, Tony D'Angelo got the better of NARAKU to retain the NXT Men's Championship in their Street Fight, but seemingly caught the attention of NXT's newest signing. If only I knew what their name was…1. CM Punk [+3]
At Saturday Night's Main Event, CM Punk's friendship with Cody Rhodes saw them emerge victorious over Gunther & Sami Zayn. But the two got into heated words on SmackDown as they build towards their WWE Men's Championship clash at SummerSlam.HONORABLE MENTIONS
Danhausen - Thanks to a big helping hand from Karl Anthony-Towns, Danhausen scored a pin against JD McDonagh at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Lyra Valkyria - Former partners turned foes finally came to a head at Saturday Night's Main Event, as Lyra Valkyria decimated Bayley on her route to victory.
Joe Hendry - Aiding Danhausen in his feud with The Judgment Day, Joe Hendry picked up a win over Dominik Mysterio on Raw.
Jacob Fatu - Raw's main event saw Jacob Fatu successfully represent The Bloodline by defeating LA Knight.
Jaida Parker - In her ongoing battles with Team Nattie, Jaida Parker earned yet another win, this time against Nattie herself.
