WWE Title Change: New SmackDown Women's Champion Crowned at WrestleMania Backlash | Smark Out Moment

The WWE SmackDown Women's Championship has changed hands as Ronda Rousey defeated Charlotte Flair to win the title at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, 2022.

My immediate reaction: Rousey was never going to be booked to quit in a submission match. We all collectively figured she would beat Flair for the title at WrestleMania to begin with, but WWE must have decided to drag it out a bit longer and swerve people.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
