WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #329 - A Raw Ravaged By COVID-19

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, January 16, 2021

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Undisputed Era [NR]

Despite some ringside shenanigans involving Pete Dunne and the BritAm Bruisers, The Undisputed Era's Adam Cole & Roderick Strong advanced to the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Classic by defeating Breezango.

9. Drew McIntyre [-3]

Due to recently being diagnosed with COVID-19, Drew McIntyre could only appear via satellite on Raw this week, accepting Goldberg's challenge for a WWE Championship match at The Royal Rumble.

8. The Way [NR]

A pair of wins for NXT's favorite family on Wednesday's show. In the opener, Candice LeRae got the better of Shotzi Blackheart, while later on in the show, Johnny Gargano sneaked a win over Dexter Lumis.

7. Shinsuke Nakamura [+3]

Building on the momentum of last week's gauntlet match, Shinsuke Nakamura opened this edition of SmackDown with a victory over Jey Uso.

6. Keith Lee [NR]

One of the superstars pulling double-duty on Raw this week, Keith Lee teamed with Sheamus to score a win over The Miz & John Morrison, before battling the Celtic Warrior immediately afterwards and coming away victorious once again.

5. Asuka [-1]

No sign of the Raw Women's Champion on this week's show, as Asuka did not join her tag team partner Charlotte Flair for her match with Lacey Evans on Monday.

4. Big E [-2]

Big E settled down comfortably on his ringside couch to watch Apollo Crews get a controversial victory over Sami Zayn on SmackDown.

3. AJ Styles [+2]

While he continues to lack a clear direction on Raw right now, AJ Styles is still picking up wins on a consistent basis, this week defeating Drew Gulak.

2. Roman Reigns [-1]

Roman Reigns had the tables turned on him on this week's SmackDown. Expecting a Last Man Standing Match against Adam Pearce at Royal Rumble, he will instead have to battle Kevin Owens for his Universal Championship instead.

1. The Hurt Business [+2]

After last week's disappointments, The Hurt Business bounced back on Raw this week, as Bobby Lashley successfully defended his United States Championship against Matt Riddle.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Peyton Royce & Lacey Evans - Now with Ric Flair firmly in her corner (and maybe other places too), Lacey Evans picked up another victory over Charlotte Flair on Raw.

Grizzled Young Veterans - Grizzled Young Veterans got the win over Ever-Rise on Wednesday night, progressing to the second stage of the Dusty Rhodes Classic.

MSK - Joining them in the latter stages of the Dusty Rhodes Classic is MSK, who had a triumphant debut over Jake Atlas & Isaiah Scott.

Cesaro - Not letting his friend Shinsuke Nakamura get all the glory, Cesaro secured his own big win on SmackDown over Daniel Bryan.

Apollo Crews - Seemingly aligning himself with Roman Reigns' family, Apollo Crew revived his Intercontinental Championship ambitions by beating Sami Zayn on SmackDown.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 36)

  1. Drew McIntyre - 39 weeks (8 weeks at #1)
