Smark Out Moment

The Superstar Shake-up happened earlier this year after WrestleMania, but the Wild Card rule invalidated that. Now, with Monday Night Raw on USA and Friday Night SmackDown on Fox, the WWE Draft is returning to split the rosters and trade a variety of superstars between the brands.

The 2019 WWE Draft will be taking place over a two-night process, starting with SmackDown (October 11) and ending on Raw (October 14).

RAW DRAFTS: Becky Lynch
- Duh. She's the biggest focal point in the company right now, for the most part, and holds a Raw title.

SMACKDOWN DRAFTS: Roman Reigns
- I imagined he'd be one of the first.

RAW DRAFTS: The O.C.
- I guess this means Shinsuke Nakamura is staying on SmackDown as the intercontinental title has to be on the blue brand.

SMACKDOWN DRAFTS: Bray Wyatt
- Fox must have really been adamant about this. Not sure if I love it or not, depending on who else he has to feud with.

RAW DRAFTS: Drew McIntyre
- Hm....we'll see.

RAW DRAFTS: Randy Orton
- This may work out really well. We'll see.

SMACKDOWN DRAFTS: Sasha Banks
- I figured this might happen. Banks/Flair and Lynch/Bayley need to be on those brands together to switch it up. Plus, Banks now has blue hair, sooo...

- This all depends on how the rest of the midcard plays out.

- This could be GREAT...or it could be awful...

- No immediate thoughts. I guess Rusev is going to Raw, though.

- We'll see how many months from now those three are still on the roster, with Kalisto and Metalik talking about wanting to leave.

- So why did Fox draft Bliss and Cross separately? Why did they waste a pick when they could have gotten them together?

- I'd love to have some kind of hope that Tozawa will make something of himself on Raw, but I think this is just a steal from 205 Live.

- At least he's not on the same brand as Rollins anymore.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross were traded to SmackDown in exchange for "future draft consideration" for Raw...whatever b.s. that means. I'll be honest, this was not the right move in my mind that they needed to do, nor do I think this was a "blockbuster" trade like they advertised.


RAW DRAFTS: No Way Jose, Mojo Rawley, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, The IIconics and Sarah Logan
- Everyone stays the same except Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. No big shocks. I guess they moved The IIconics to balance out Bliss and Cross (even though one team is heel and one team is babyface).

SMACKDOWN DRAFTS: Luke Harper, Cesaro, Drake Maverick, Fire & Desire and Dana Brooke
- Maverick and EC3 were split up? Why? Just to get him on the same night as 205 Live even though he doesn't need to be a general manager anymore if it is underneath the NXT brand?
- Harper is a nothing pick if he's leaving and they have no plans for him.
- Cesaro could do wonders on SmackDown. That's great.
- Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, thumbs up.
- Dana Brooke could use a change of pace. This might work out well for her.
