The WWE Intercontinental Championship has changed hands as Dean Ambrose has defeated Kevin Owens to win the title at TLC on December 13, 2015.

My immediate reaction: This event has been a pain to sit through, and the title change injected some vitality, but despite being a fan of Dean Ambrose, I'm disappointed in this. I was really hoping we'd get Sami Zayn challenging Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, and this means that match is out the window unless they do a quick title reign for Ambrose, which is also something I'm not fond of. If WWE gives me something better for both Owens and Ambrose (and Zayn for that matter), then I'll be happy with this in retrospect, but with the way the company has been doing things as of late, I can't hold out hope that this is a good decision.
