After another solid Monday Night Raw last week, what are you excited for this week? How about the Divas Championship match between Charlotte and Nikki Bella? That's right, if you saw last weeks  show you would know that Charlotte asked to have her title match early so she could shut down the Bellatron and stop Nikki from beating AJ Lee's record for longest Divas Championship run. What about the Tag Team Championship match between New Day and The Prime Time Players? I would not necessarily call the winner of this match a "winner" because whichever team wins will face the returning Dudley Boyz at Night of Champions for the titles. That's just two matches we will see, and that does not include what Sting will do to continue to wreck Seth Rollins' mind. What will The Vigilante and John Cena do to the champ this week?

PROMO: The opening promo of the night belonged to The Authority. The power couple kick off the show by saying that this year for the WWE has been a "massive success". Talking about how the next generation of superstars is here to takeover, and they are being led by the champion himself, Seth Rollins. They then talk about how this Sunday, Seth has a chance to cement his legacy forever when he faces both John Cena and Sting at Night of Champions. Then, Stephanie talks about the Divas Championship Match tonight between Charlotte and Nikki who is close to breaking AJ Lee's record. HHH then drops a bomb by saying Sting will have his first ever match on Monday Night Raw, and his opponent will be the Big Show.

Let it be known that before this match both HHH and Stephanie put on a pretty sick dance with New Day.

And we also came back from break with Big E making a "snow angel" in the ring. If they could be on all three hours of Raw, I still would not change the channel.

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The New Day (c) vs. The Prime Time Players

Gearing up for The New Day is Kofi and Big E as Xavier gives moral support through song with his trombone on the outside of the ring. Kofi and Darren Young start off this match very quickly with Young going for a pin and getting a two count. Darren gets the upper hand and tags in Titus, but Kofi gets away and tags in Big E. Titus hits a big knock down and a leg drop, then whips Big E in the corner and tags in Darren. After a couple slaps Darren tags back out to Titus but Big E gets the upper hand quickly with a belly to belly suplex. After tagging in Kofi, Titus hits a big shoulder block and crawls to tag in Darren. Darren comes back in like he was shot out of a gun hitting an array of clotheslines and knockdowns. Kofi goes for the SOS, it gets blocked but he still tags in Big E. After a distraction to the referee by Xavier, Xavier throws Darren into the steel ring post and tags in Kofi.

*Commercial Break*

We come back to the season premier of Raw with Kofi beating up on Darren Young and tossing him outside the ring as Xavier plays the Pink Panther theme song. Big E puts a beating on Darren outside the ring, driving him into the barricade. After being thrown back into the ring, Darren is put into a chokehold by Kofi. He eventually fights out, getting a shot in on Big E on the apron, tries to fight to Titus but gets stopped by Kofi who slams him. Kofi goes for a splash off the top rope but gets hits with Darrens knees. Both men tag out as Titus begins to dominate. Kofi tries to hit Titus with a cross-body from the top rope but gets caught and hits with multiple back breakers. He then throws Kofi out, hits Big E with a slam and gets a two-count. Titus hits a spinebuster but Xavier causes problems again. With the distraction The New Day hits their finisher, and pins Titus for the win.

RESULTS: The New Day pins Titus to retain their belts.
THOUGHTS: A good, entertaining match. The New Day is always entertaining and I can not wait for their match with The Dudley Boyz at Night of Champions. As long as Xavier has his trombone its guaranteed to be a good one.

They play a clip from Starrcade 1988 with Dusty Rhodes and Sting winning a tag team match.

PROMO: We come back to backstage with Seth, Stephanie, and HHH. They talk about Stings first match on Raw and Seth talks about how Cena and Sheamus have been on his mind. And then HHH announces Cena and Sheamus will have a match tonight, and Steph tells him to focus on NoC.

PROMO: The Renee interviews Charlotte and her Hall of Fame daddy Ric! Charlotte says being a Divas Champion has always been her dream, and carrying on her dads legacy. The Nature Boy puts over the Divas Revolution, and says his daughter and Nikki are tear the house down. Charlotte says that ending Nikkis reign is not any pressure, she is just ready to be the champ. Then her and her daddy throw out a couple of "WOOOOO"'s of course.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Paige (with Becky Lynch) vs. Sasha Banks (with Naomi & Tamina)

Paige takes out Sasha quickly with a takedown. Finally after the two are separated, Paige goes right back after her. Finally, Sasha gets the upper hand and goes for a pin but it is only a two-count. Sahsa begins to work on Paige's right arm bending it in ways it is definitely not supposed to be bent. Sasha then puts her up on the ropes and drives her knees into her stomach and gets a two-count. The Boss then goes back to working on her opponents arms. Paige fights out, but only gets a drop kick from Sasha for her trouble. Paige reverses Sasha in the corner and starts in a mutiny of kicks. Paige rolls through for a pin, but Sasha  reverses it for a two-count of her own. After the pin, Paige hits a Brock Lesnar like german suplex as Sasha falls outside the ring. Paige goes outside the ring, but Tamina gets involved with a slam. After getting back in the ring Sasha locks in the Bank Statement and wins via pinfall. With Charlotte not out there, team B.A.D. attacks Becky and Paige.

RESULTS: Sasha submits Paige with her Bank Statement
THOUGHTS: Good match. The rivalry between these two has gotten very good. Hopefully this will be a match centered around a title one day.

*Commercial Break*

"MIZ TV" WITH THE WYATT FAMILY:  Luke Harper and Braun Strowman start off by tossing their chairs out the ring as Bray says "You are not safe here Miz." Miz asks who Braun Strowman is and asks Braun to tell us about himself. Bray Wyatt then says he wants Miz to suffer along with Roman and Dean. He also wants everyone to know that it does not matter who all shows up at NoC because they will all fall. Then comes out Dean and Roman with no other member with them just yet. Dean Ambrose then proceeds to chuck Miz out of the ring.. Thankfully. They then stare down The Wyatt Family. Roman starts off by saying Bray makes him sick by thinking he is on top of the world. He says if he was really "the man" he would have beat him one on one. Roman then says they found a third partner, so the match will be 3 on 3. Apparently we will not find out the third person until NoC.

They show Sting vs. Ric Flair at Great American Bash 1990 for Sting to win his first world championship.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: John Cena vs. Sheamus

As the "You look stupid" and "Cena sucks" chants echo throughout the arena, Cena and the Irish Chicken lock up with Sheamus getting the upper hand. Cena whips Sheamus off the topes and then hits a big drop kick. Sheamus then gets off a couple of nice uppercuts and dumps Cena outside the ring.

*Commercial Break*

We come back to the season premier of the longest running weekly episodic television show with Sheamus pinning Cena but only for a two-count. Sheamus then goes to the top rope and lands a big knee for a two-count. Cena starts a come back with a couple of be punches but then gets caught in a sleeper hold and then to a chin lock. Cena begins to power out as the two trade punches and then John starts with his shoulder blocks. The Cena hits his five knuckle shuffle and the goes for his AA. Sheamus reverses but then John hits a DDT for a near fall. Sheamus reverses another AA attempt into a clover leaf submission maneuver, but Cena gets to the ropes. Cena rolls to the apron as Sheamus then hits his 10 big punches to the 15x Champions chest. Sheamus goes for his White Noise but it is reversed into Cena's STF. Sheamus desperately reaches the bottom rope to force a break. Cena then hits Sheamus with his own 10 punches on the apron. Cena's AA is reversed once again with a running high knee. Brogue Kick is reversed with a big clothesline by Cena. The two brawlers trade huge punches before Sheamus knocks Cena with a big uppercut and slam for a two-count. Out of desperation Sheamus goes back to the top rope but is caught in mid air and gets hit with a big face first slam and is put in the STF. It is reversed by Sheamus into a rolling senton, but then Cena hits the AA for the win.

RESULTS: Cena pins Sheamus with the AA for the victory.
THOUGHTS: Cena is having his best year in the ring over his illustrious career. Amazing matches with anyone week in and week out an this was no different. Another good match and it is nice to see Sheamus fight someone other than Orton this week.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: We come back to see Ryback in the ring. The Intercontinental Champion starts talking about Kevin Owens and even singing a little bit. It was not good. The Big Guy says that Owens has no respect for anyone, but before he can go any further out comes Owens himself. Kevin says that he remembers that Ryback said the book "The Secret" helped him so he read it himself. He said that after reading it he felt bad for everyone that read that book and believes the crap in it. He says its nothing but an excuse and a crutch for weak people. Then he says that he blames Ryback for being weak even though he looks like a monster and that's a travesty that he is a champion. Ryback says that KO is the delusional one. Ryback says he is the "Big Guy" and is grateful for everything he has and he has worked for it. He understands that KO is an inspirational guy with his road to the WWE, but he is not weak and he has climbed the WWE mountain the right way. Kevin Owens says that if he ever gets a chance at that IC Title he will take it and prove that the "Big Guy" is nothing but a weak little boy. The Ryback announces that at Night of Champions the two will face off for that IC Title belt. It will be "Fight Owens Fight" vs. "Feed Me More" at NoC!

They then show Starrcade 1997 Sting vs. NWO Hogan as Sting wins another championship.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Stardust (with The Ascension) vs. Neville (with The Lucha Dragons)

Before the match even begins all hell breaks loose with everyone attacking everyone as Neville and The Dragons hold the ring. Then The Ascension and Stardust basically just leave the arena..

RESULTS: I do not know what just happened.. There was no official match here.
THOUGHTS: This was the most pointless 45 seconds ever.

*Commercial Break*

DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Nikki Bella (c) (w Team Bella) vs. Charlotte (w Team PCB)

The second championship match of the night starts off with a lock up, and Charlotte gaining the upper hand. It is very clear that Charlotte is the much better wrestler of the two as she starts off dominating. Then Nikki begins working on the left arm of Charlotte, really putting it to work. Stretching it between the ropes, smashing it to the canvas with knees. The Charlotte sweeps Nikki right off her feet, but can not capitalize as Nikki goes back to the arm. Both ladies are on the apron as Nikki slams Charlottes arm and face into the canvas, utterly dominating out of no where.

*Commercial Break*

We come back from commercials to see Nikki still controlling the match. Still targeting that arm with arm bars and stomps. Charlotte finally powers out of the arm bar with a big slam for some much needed separation. Charlotte begins to capitalize with chops and punches and a big boot that gets her a near fall. Nikki then goes right back for the arm, and hits a drop kick as Charlotte went for the spear and it gets her a two-count. Nikki really showing a new side of herself tonight eith a strategy and working it perfectly. Nikki and Brie switch for a little twin magic, but Charlotte gets a surprising roll up on Brie for a win and we have a new champion as she is joined by her dad in the ring! But here comes Stephanie, and she says that Charlotte can not win the title when she pinned Brie. But when Brie put her hands on Charlotte that's a DQ and Nikki keeps the belt. Stephanie does say that Charlotte will get her rematch at NoC and Nikki will not have a champions advantage.

RESULT: Charlotte wins via DQ.
THOUGHTS: Kinda sad to see the match go like this. I feel like it is clear Charlotte will win at NoC, but nonetheless Nikki will break AJ's record. Stupid.

They then show Stings WWE debut at Survivor Series 2014 setting up that match at WrestleMania with HHH.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Rusev (w Summer Rae) vs. Cesaro

The Cesaro Section is out full blast for this match as these two strongmen get ready to tangle. It starts off with Cesaro getting the upperhand, but quickly dropping that to Rusev. Headlocks and chin locks with Rusev using his size to his advantage. Cesaro hits a big arm drag and DDT, and then welcomes Rusev to Uppercut City. Cesaro goes for a suplex, but Rusev counters. Cesaro then hits a big suspended suplex on the much larger Rusev. Rusev then hits a big drop on the ropes to Cesaro but only gets a two-count. Rusev then begins to stomp away on The Swiss Superman using vice grips and locks. Then out comes Dolph Ziggler to talk to Summer, distracting Rusev in the ring. Cesaro rolls up Rusev for the win off the distraction and Dolph gets in a super kick of his own.

RESULT: Cesaro wins via pinfall
THOUGHTS: Cesaro deserves much better than this. I'm glad he got the win, but he got it in the wrong way. Cesaro is the most poorly used talent on the roster. He should be fighting for a belt and I hope he is soon.

They show Big Show and Seth Rollins talking in the back. Remember Show and Sting are the main event tonight.

*Commercial Break*

They show Rusev and Lana arguing and then Summer opens the gift Dolph gave her. This ridiculous story cannot end soon enough.

PROMO: Steph, Show, and HHH are talking about Stings big match. HHH call Show a problem solver and Sting is the problem. Show says "I got this." and The Authority says "I know you do."

*Commercial Break*

We come back from break to see The Authority ringside for Sting and The Big Show. I'm sure Rollins won't be far behind.

MATCH: Sting vs. The Big Show

Sting and Big Show start off quick with punches and kicks thrown all around. Big Show starts using his size quickly but Sting uses what speed he has to get out of the way and land fast punches. Then Sting plants Show with a big DDT. The Vigilante tries to keep the big man grounded with boots to the stomach. He then hits a Stinger Splash and then out comes Rollins. Rollins and Show attack Sting for a DQ, and the assault begins. Then out comes Cena to the rescue as Cena and Sting work together to get rid of Rollins and Show. Two of the greats, Sting and Cena hold the ring much to the displeasure of The Authority. HHH then changes it to a tag team match, Cena and Sting vs Show and Rollins.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Sting and John Cena vs. Seth Rollins and The Big Show

We come back to Cena and Big Show in the ring. Cena is in the wrong corner as Show has him trapped. Big Show enjoying the manhandling of Cena as he body slams him. Show tags in Rollins who goes to work on Cena with big stomps and boots. Rollins runs at Cena, but Cena sends him out of the ring. After a few quick tags it is Rollins on top again as they are keeping Sting from getting into the ring. Cena has taken a lot of punishment, and cannot even get close to Sting. Big Show toys with him as Cena gets close to a tag, but instead he just gets clocked by a huge punch from Show. After more quick tags and quick moves finally Cena gets to Sting. Sting and Rollins go toe to toe with a preview for this Sunday. Cena hits Big Show with an AA. Sting hits Rollins with a Deathdrop and then locks in the Deathlock and Rollins taps out.

RESULT: Sting and John Cena win after Rollins taps out to Stings Scorpion Deathlock
THOUGHTS: This was nothing special. It was cool to see Sting on Raw and cool to see him make Rollins tap out, but I would have much rather seen a one on one match for Sting. Nonetheless it makes me a little more excited for NoC this Sunday!
