Khali Shops at Walmart

Posted by Anthony Mango - Wednesday, October 28, 2009
There's not much to talk about here, it's just a funny looking set of images to see someone like Khali hanging over a shopping cart looking at milk in Walmart lol....

WWE Bragging Rights 2009 Results & Review

Posted by Anthony Mango - Sunday, October 25, 2009
Keeping up with WWE's new pay-per-view lineup, we've got Bragging Rights. Which is the better show, Raw or Smackdown...since the red headed stepchild ECW isn't even on the ppv in the slightest bit? Let's put it under the microscope. The Miz def. John Morrison Surprised that Miz got the win. I predicted Morrison as I figured they'd want to open up the ppv with a face winning, AND that Raw would win the divas match to even it out. Very,...

WWE Bragging Rights 2009 Predictions (Updated)

Posted by Anthony Mango - Tuesday, October 20, 2009
And so we cast aside the voting polls from Cyber Sunday and usher in a new pay-per-view wherein a tag team match is the gimmick of the show: Survivor Series...wait, I'm getting ahead of myself, and so did the WWE. That's next month as this Sunday is Bragging Rights, wherein the brands of the WWE will face off to determine which of the two are better, because apparently the WWE doesn't realize that there's a third brand in ECW. What do we...

TNA Bound for Glory 2009 Review (AKA Botch for Glory)

Posted by Anthony Mango - Sunday, October 18, 2009
Now, I'm not a TNA fan. I check it out every so often and I follow some of the news if something big happens. Basically, I have a generic idea of what they're doing there but I don't pay any attention. I was bored, though, so I figured what the hell...I might as well check out the ppv that TNA considers their equivalent of WrestleMania: Botch for Glory! I mean, Bound for Glory! First, I missed a few matches, because the Treehouse of...

Captain Lou Albano Dies

Posted by Anthony Mango - Wednesday, October 14, 2009
Unfortunately, it appears as though Captain Lou Albano has passed away. Although he was a part of an era that I wasn't old enough to really appreciate in wrestling, anyone who is a fan knows the guy's a legend in the business. I mean hell, he was even on the Mario Bros cartoon lol. Thankfully, the guy was 76 years old and seemingly led a full, happy life. Too often in professional wrestling, those who pass away are far too young and far...

Diva Trade - Yea or Nay?

Posted by Anthony Mango - Monday, October 12, 2009
So on tonight's Raw, Jillian Hall defeated Mickie James for the Divas Championship. Immediately afterwards, guest host Nancy O'Dell came out and announced that there was a trade amongst the women in the WWE and Jillian now has to defend her title against Melina, who is a part of the Raw roster. Naturally, Melina wins the belt (after Jillian botches Melina's first finisher and causes her to do her other one as a backup). A little later,...

New Belt in WWE Coming Soon?

Posted by Anthony Mango - Wednesday, October 7, 2009
Word going around is that the WWE wants to introduce a new design for at least one of the heavyweight championship belts, if not more. If that's the case, I'd LOOOOOOOOVE for them to redesign the current WWE title. The spinner thing has outlived its usefulness and it looks cheap and tacky. They need something with the prestige of the old winged belt design. The current World Heavyweight Championship belt, dubbed by the fans as "The Big...

WWE Hell in a Cell Results & Review

Posted by Anthony Mango - Tuesday, October 6, 2009
Review's a little late, but hey, better late than never. Hell in a Cell....one of my favorite gimmick matches. Would it become one of my favorite ppvs? World Heavyweight Championship (Hell in a Cell): Undertaker def. CM Punk (c) Way to book Punk to look like he isn't championship material. This guy's a three time world champ and every single one of his reigns has consisted of him winning matches by default, DQ, count out, or cheating....

New Match Added to WWE Hell in a Cell PPV

Posted by Anthony Mango - Sunday, October 4, 2009
R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre. WOW. They're pushing these two to a pay-per-view match already??? They must REALLY like McIntyre to give him a rub from McMahon and put him on a ppv in his first match. Can't say I agree with them on it, though, as McIntyre is not impressive to me on the mic, or his look, or his generic character. Hopefully this is the 5 minute filler match as they shouldn't take time away from the US/IC title defenses for this....
