PREDICTED MATCHES (as of 10/22/2016)

Note: Keep in mind that trying to give predictions so far in advance is nearly impossible, but that's part of the fun in seeing just how much things change.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. John Cena

There aren't that many options for SmackDown's world title, but this has to involve AJ Styles at the very least. Earlier in the year, I thought we'd get a Fatal 4-Way with Randy Orton, John Cena and Dean Ambrose, but they've burned through the Ambrose vs. Styles option. I can't imagine Randy Orton being a big enough opponent to take the top spot against Styles, as opposed to wrestling in some other capacity. However, there's one thing they can definitely do that would feel big enough: John Cena winning his 16th world championship. Sure, it would be predictable and we've seen him face Styles many times already, but what else are you going to do when you have such a limited roster? Styles vs Bray Wyatt? Not going to happen. The only thing I could see getting in the way of Cena vs. Styles is if they want to have that Cena/Undertaker match, but that can happen next year.

PREDICTION: If Styles goes in as champion against John Cena in any fashion, Cena wins.

WWE Universal Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Finn Balor

I'm holding out some hope that Balor can make it back in time to win the Royal Rumble and challenge Kevin Owens, but the other option (which is much less likely to happen) is to go with Sami Zayn. I don't want to bank on Sami Zayn being given such a big spot even if Finn Balor isn't ready to go. In that scenario, they'd probably just give the match to Roman Reigns. Then again, Kevin Owens might not be the champion by then.

PREDICTION: If Finn comes back for this match, he wins, hands down, without a doubt.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Dolph Ziggler may or may not still be champion around this time, but in either scenario, I think we're getting a Fatal 4-Way or something along those lines. There are too many people floating around who could participate in a midcard title match who may not necessarily fit in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. It's definitely not going to be a singles match between Ziggler and The Miz, and I've lost faith WWE plans on giving that much of a push to Baron Corbin or Apollo Crews, but all four together could make sense.

PREDICTION: Too early to call.

WWE United States Championship Match

I don't have the slightest clue, but the main players in this division should be Cesaro, Rusev, Neville, Sami Zayn, and Sheamus. Then again, what if WWE uses Roman Reigns in this role, still? I could see Reigns against Sheamus happening, or maybe Braun Strowman if he's built up in enough time, but I also have to imagine Reigns is one of the top picks to fight The Undertaker. If Reigns drops the United States title before Elimination Chamber or Fastlane, I think we're getting him against The Phenom, which means the United States Championship should be revolving more around a guy like Cesaro or Sami Zayn against Rusev or Sheamus (but not Cesaro vs. Sheamus).

PREDICTION: Too early to call.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

More than any other match on this card, I would expect this to be an open invitational or something along those lines, featuring a handful of people. Then again, if we get that for the Intercontinental Championship, I don't think it will happen here, too.

PREDICTION: Too early to call.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

Enzo and Cass? The New Day? The Club? There aren't that many teams on the roster, but The New Day should definitely be involved one way or another.

PREDICTION: Too early to call.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. American Alpha

Unless it happens ahead of time or we get a multi-team match, I think The Usos against American Alpha is clearly the top match on SmackDown's tag team division and they need to lose the belts to Gable and Jordan. Then again, so much big stuff is going to happen on this card, why waste a tag title change at WrestleMania when you can do it on another, lesser event to make it feel bigger?

PREDICTION: American Alpha wins no matter who they face.

4th Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

They've done three before and it seems like there's no stopping this from continuing, so it's more of a question of who will not have more important things to do rather than whether or not this match will take place. After SummerSlam, my go-to answer is Braun Strowman, but he might position himself in a bigger match before that, or lose a lot of steam, too.

PREDICTION: Braun Strowman wins.

Big Show vs. Shaquille O'Neal

They keep talking about this happening, and I think that it could be kind of interesting.

PREDICTION: Shaq obviously wins.

Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns or John Cena

Now that we know Sting is not a possibility, that narrows the field down some more. John Cena would be the standout top match available, although there are other options that could happen instead if need be, and Roman Reigns would be the next in line.

PREDICTION: The Undertaker wins unless it's his final match and he's facing Cena, in which case it could go either way.

Brock Lesnar vs. Shane McMahon

There aren't a ton of people that Lesnar can face who are big enough stars, and with Randy Orton being out of the way, the only real options left that I could feasibly see happening are Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Sheamus, Samoa Joe, or Braun Strowman.

They're teasing that Shane and Brock will fight, so unless that happens earlier, it will definitely happen here. There's no way they opt for someone lesser like Sheamus or even Cesaro if they have Shane as an option.

PREDICTION: Brock Lesnar wins.

Triple H vs. Seth Rollins

If it isn't Triple H against Shane, then it's Triple H against Seth Rollins, and unless they pull the trigger on that soon at Survivor Series, then I think it could definitely be the more solid direction, especially since they're teasing Lesnar vs. McMahon.

If Shane McMahon isn't busy with Brock Lesnar, then it makes sense for him to face Triple H instead. There has to be something between the two brands, right? It would seem weird if there weren't any matches for brand supremacy unless they were planning on doing a Bragging Rights event, and if that's the case, then I definitely could see them moving away from doing something here.

PREDICTION: Triple H loses to either man.

Raw Women's Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley

Right? Right?

PREDICTION: Bayley wins.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Nikki Bella

I don't have the slightest clue, so let's just go with the top two women.

PREDICTION: Too early to call.
