|WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Spoilers|
We're about to start the Road to WrestleMania XXIX everyone with the 2013 Royal Rumble! This is my favorite pay-per-view that WWE puts on every year so I naturally end up getting really excited about it. With the addition of The Rock vs. CM Punk, this event just got even better. Here are my predictions for the 2013 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Check back for Royal Rumble 2013 results and review coverage here. WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. The Rock
Mostly everyone is expecting the Rock to come out of this with the title. I'm no different. I think there's still a possibility that CM Punk retains through some shady methods, but more than likely, if someone told me to put a bet down, I'd be going with the Rock. It's a safe bet considering how CM Punk has already surpassed a year long title reign and this could lead into a rematch for John Cena to take the title back at WrestleMania. Do I necessarily hope that happens? Maybe, maybe not. It would depend on the match quality. But if Cena vs Rock gives us Punk vs Undertaker and the alternative is Punk vs Rock again with Undertaker facing John Cena, hm..that's a tough one.
PREDICTION: The Rock wins the WWE Championship from CM Punk and loses it to John Cena at WrestleMania.
The 2013 Royal Rumble Match
I don't have much on here now as far as predictions go, but believe me, this is going to be FILLED. Every year, I try to predict the winner, the Iron Man, the one with the most eliminations, the fasted eliminated, and EACH entrance. For right now, I'll just tell you that my 5 potential choices for the winner of this event are Ryback, John Cena, CM Punk Daniel Bryan, and the Miz. I can 100% (at least at the moment) see Randy Orton and Sheamus eliminating each other in some way to help build towards a match between those two. That might be a little too easy and soon, though, where instead, they'll start the feud officially by one eliminating the other (Sheamus eliminating Orton most likely) at Elimination Chamber.
PREDICTION: John Cena wins the Royal Rumble.

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Big Show
I don't like the idea of Del Rio going into WrestleMania as the champ, nor do I like the idea of him dropping it beforehand, nor do I like the idea of Sheamus and Randy Orton being in the title match OR Dolph Ziggler winning it from Del Rio and dropping it at WrestleMania to someone. This pretty much assures me that I'll be disappointed no matter what, and I don't think this match will be particularly impressive either. I hope they know what they're doing, and I hope it's good, because I don't want to regret spending all that money on my WrestleMania ticket...
PREDICTION: Alberto Del Rio retains.
Tag Team Championship: Team Hell No (c) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars
This has been quite a long time coming, and I don't think it was originally intended for the Royal Rumble as anything but a rematch. If I had to guess the outcome of the match, I would say Rhodes Scholars comes out with the title, seeing as how they've really wrapped up everything with Dr. Shelby.
PREDICTION: Rhodes Scholars wins it here or Hell No goes into Mania and drops it to the Shield.
YouTube Pre-Show United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. The Miz
This isn't that important of a match, as I doubt Miz is winning the title and this will just be there to fill some time. Personally, I was hoping they'd do either a qualifying match or even just show people picking their numbers from the tumbler thing that they used to do. But hey, at least it isn't a divas match.
PREDICTION: Antonio Cesaro retains.
