WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: March 27, 2026
- Promo: Randy Orton blamed his current character on Cody Rhodes giving him permission to listen to the voices again. Matt Cardona came out to go after him.
- Backstage: SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis spoke to Trick Williams about having a match at WrestleMania for him. Sami Zayn interrupted and it turns out there isn't a spot for him right now. After Williams joked about Zayn being in catering, Zayn struck him.
- After a commercial break, Aldis was being yelled at by Orton, who demanded a match with Cardona for tonight. Aldis says Cardona's arm is broken, but makes the match anyway when Orton threatens to go after him despite that.
- The Bella Twins defeated Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss by pinfall due in part to Nia Jax and Lash Legend getting involved. The Irresistible Forces fought with Bayley and Lyra Valkyria as well after the match.
- Backstage, Damian Priest, R-Truth, Jelly Roll, and Rhea Ripley all chatted and gave each other some pep talk hype for upcoming matches.
- The Bella Twins and Flair/Bliss argued backstage.
- Promo: Rhea Ripley called out Jade Cargill, who came out with B-Fab and Michin. B-Fab was volunteered to fight Ripley (by Jade). Ripley beat B-Fab by disqualification after Jade and Michin naturally got involved for a 3-on-1 beat down.
- The Miz has stepped in gum, packages of his have been rerouted, and he's dropped his phone in the toilet, all from the Danhausen curse. He won't be ringside for Kit Wilson's match, but he'll be watching. Danhausen then approached Wilson, who was about to call him toxic, but got cursed because of it.
- Jelly Roll defeated Kit Wilson by pinfall.
- Solo Sikoa says that he can't lead the MFTs unless they're all on the same page, and apologizes, which is something that Roman Reigns never would have done. Carmelo Hayes then asked Tama Tonga if he's finally going to answer the open challenge. Shinsuke Nakamura then also asked Tama Tonga what he's going to do, and Talla Tonga rolled up to ask if he's good. Tonga said he is, and they walked off.
- Open Challenge for the WWE Men's United States Championship: Sami Zayn defeated Carmelo Hayes (c) by pinfall to win the title! This was due in part to Trick Williams getting involved, trying to punch Zayn, but hitting Hayes instead.
- Promo: Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre will have an unsanctioned match at WrestleMania.
- Backstage: Jelly Roll tried to give some pep talk to Matt Cardona. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega then got into Cardona's head.
- Giulia defeated Tiffany Stratton by pinfall due to some interference from Kiana James.
- Randy Orton defeated Matt Cardona by pinfall. After the match, Cody Rhodes arrived and went after Orton. Officials tried to separate them, with the segment ultimately ending with an RKO to Jelly Roll.
