WWE ROYAL RUMBLE 2027 PREDICTIONS (as of 8/4/2026):
30-Man Royal Rumble Match (2027)
Original prediction after Royal Rumble: Shot in the dark a year in advance, I'm going to say Oba Femi wins, though a few other names I'd be on the lookout for would be Bron Breakker, Logan Paul (ugh), Jacob Fatu, Gunther, and maybe Trick Williams. WWE naturally doesn't have the slightest clue what they're doing, I'm sure, so this is arbitrary until we get to at least SummerSlam, I would think. Unless of course there is some sort of plan for Saudi Arabia to be The Rock against Roman Reigns and they'll have The Rock win this, but that's not something any of us can know from behind the scenes.
Updated prediction after WrestleMania: I think some of the possibilities for next year's title matches could be CM Punk against Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns against The Rock, and some guys like Bron Breakker, Gunther, Oba Femi, and Seth Rollins hovering the scene, too. I don't think it will be Rollins out of that group, and injuries and weird things can change anything at any time. I'm expecting Breakker to beat Reigns at SummerSlam and to possibly be challenged by Gunther, who wins this.
Updated prediction after SummerSlam: If we're already checking off the CM Punk versus Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins versus Roman Reigns boxes, we're done with these combinations, right? Can we move on to Oba Femi and Bron Breakker as the two guys to build? Whether that's the plan or not, I'm going to assume it is, and given those options, I think we'd be looking more at Oba Femi against Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker against maybe Cody Rhodes, if he finds his way back to the title.
PREDICTION: Bron Breakker will win the Men's Royal Rumble.
30-Woman Royal Rumble Match (2027)
Original prediction after Royal Rumble: Shot in the dark a year in advance, I'm going to say Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace, Roxanne Perez, and maybe Chelsea Green could be in the mix along with the usual suspects.
Updated prediction after WrestleMania: I don't know if the timeline works out for there to be any chance Bianca Belair is back in time to win this, but if it does, that's absolutely a possibility. More realistically, I think we're looking at Jade Cargill as a possible winner to challenge someone like Charlotte Flair, or possibly Iyo Sky winning to check off that accolade. Stephanie Vaquer is still an option, too, but I would count out Jordynne Grace, Roxanne Perez, and Chelsea Green from my original picks, sadly, just based on how they book them.
Updated prediction after SummerSlam: Just like the men's division, WWE has its favorites. I do think this ultimately comes down to a handful of about 8 names at most, which sounds like a lot (and is a lot, as only 1 can win), but it's fair to say this still revolves around Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Jade Cargill, Iyo Sky, etc. There's nothing at all saying this is even a possibility, but I could very well see Bianca Belair making her return at this event to win it and to go on to challenge someone like Cargill (if she finds her way back to the belt) or if not, then it's going to really depend on who is champion.
PREDICTION: Bianca Belair will win the Women's Royal Rumble.
