WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: December 5, 2025
- Backstage: Cody Rhodes attacked Drew McIntyre while Drew was being told to leave, as he's still suspended. Rhodes then went to the ring and demanded that Nick Aldis reinstate him so he can stomp him out like the cockroach he is, as he's fired up that McIntyre "broken an unwritten rule" by attacking him on his tour bus.
- Backstage, #DIY were talking about Tommaso Ciampa going after the United States title. Carmelo Hayes walked by and said he has next, then called Ciampa a jackass.
- Damian Priest is bringing Rhea Ripley to back him up against Zelina and Aleister Black.
- United States Championship Open Challenge: Ilja Dragunov (c) defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall due in part to interference from Tommaso Ciampa (which Dragunov, nor the referee, saw)
- Alexa Bliss defeated Kairi Sane by pinfall. Lash Legend and Nia Jax went on the attack after the match.
- Backstage, Cody Rhodes told Ricky Saints and Oba Femi that the winner of their match tomorrow on NXT Deadline will face him at Saturday Night's Main Event.
- Jade Cargill squashed Alba Fyre by pinfall. Kiana James and Giulia went after Chelsea Green pretty much right after the bell rang.
- Backstage: Fraxiom wants another #DIY match, but Ilja Dragunov also wants to fight Tommaso Ciampa. Nick Aldis books the US title match (Dragunov vs. Ciampa) for next week. Dragunov says after he's done with him, Axiom and Nathan Frazer can have whatever is left. Tama Tonga then popped up to stare down Dragunov again.
- In another backstage segment, B-Fab and Michin confronted Jade Cargill to set up something for another time.
- Promo: Solo Sikoa is coming after The Wyatt Sicks, who showed up and brawled with the MFTs.
- Backstage: The Miz complained to Nick Aldis that he deserves to be booked for Saturday Night's Main Event. It turns out Bayley is going to face Sol Ruca on that show, which The Miz was upset about, and is trying to campaign that he should have a match.
- The Last Time is Now Tournament Finals: Gunther defeated LA Knight by submission
