WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #338 - Final Rush To Fastlane

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, March 20, 2021

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch [NR]

Despite ending the match with one of their team members injured, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch managed to retain their NXT Tag Team Championships against the feuding pair of Finn Balor and Karrion Kross.

9. Finn Balor [-4]

One of the participants in that NXT Tag Team Championship match, Finn Balor, plummets down the power rankings after being pinned by Oney Lorcan and was beaten down by his partner and future challenger Karrion Kross.

8. Bianca Belair [-1]

The booking of Bianca Belair in the build-up to WrestleMania 37 continues to be befuddling. On SmackDown, she battled Shayna Baszler only for it to end in a No Contest when Natalya and Tamina Snuka interfered.

7. Sasha Banks [NR]

Meanwhile, the SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks had a better night on SmackDown, successfully defending her title against Nia Jax prior to their tag team clash at Fastlane.

6. The New Day [NR]

For the 11th time, The New Day are on top of the tag team ranks by defeating The Hurt Business for the Raw Tag Team Championships, and were immediately challenged by AJ Styles & Omos for a title match at WrestleMania 37.

5. Roman Reigns [-1]

More talking by Roman Reigns on SmackDown prior to his Universal Championship defense against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane, and ended up flooring his challenger with a Spear to close the show.

4. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax [-3]

A big drop for the Women's Tag Team Champions as they went 0-3 in their matches this week. Shayna Baszler suffered a loss to Asuka on Raw and went to a No Contest with Bianca Belair on SmackDown. Also on Friday night, Nia Jax failed to capture the SmackDown Women's Championship from Sasha Banks.

3. Riddle [+3]

Riddle fought off the challenge of Mustafa Ali on Raw, maintaining a firm grasp on the United States Championship for now.

2. Io Shirai [+1]

Io Shirai wasn't in action this week, but showed no fear or intimidation by handing Raquel Gonzalez a contract to challenge her for the NXT Women's Championship at Takeover: Stand & Deliver.

1. The Hurt Business [+1]

A very mixed edition of Raw for The Hurt Business. On the downside, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander lost the Raw Tag Team Championships to The New Day. On a positive front, Bobby Lashley got the better of Sheamus in a physical main event.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Drew McIntyre - Prior to his match with Sheamus at Fastlane, Drew McIntyre warmed up on Raw with a comfortable win over The Miz.

Asuka - Asuka returned on Raw intent on revenge against Shayna Baszler, beating her in a match and then threatening to do further damage to her teeth after the bell.

Dexter Lumis - Taking advantage of Austin Theory's naivety, Dexter Lumis choked out his opponent on Wednesday's NXT.

LA Knight - A successful debut performance by the newly-signed LA Knight, as he defeated August Grey on NXT.

Edge - Edge secured his spot as the special enforcer for Fastlane's Universal Championship match by pinning Jey Uso in SmackDown's main event.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 36)

  1. Drew McIntyre - 42 weeks (8 weeks at #1)
