Do you have a question that you want to ask the minds over at Smark Out Moment? Our version of the WWE Inbox is the Smark Out Moment Mailbag. Once a month, we set aside some time to answer any of the questions on your mind, whether they be wrestling related, trivia to try to stump us, or just general questions to get to know Tony Mango and the other members of the team better.

Here are your submissions for this month:


Question: "Coming up on The 35th anniversary of The Bob Backlund vs.Iron Sheik match, If you had to change the course of history what would you have done differently to have Bob Backlund retain his world title instead of it being The Iron Sheik? Whatever you do, don't throw in the towel."

Answer: I don't think changing that would be for the better, actually, in any fashion.

Question: "If Andre the Giant had kept his winning streak intact after 1987, Would he have gone for the world heavyweight championship or would his health be a factor?"

Answer: This might seem like a cop-out answer, but I feel like Andre's career was exactly what it was going to be. He was an attraction that didn't need the title.


Question: "Will article 13 affect you?"

Answer: As far as I'm aware, not necessarily, but all of that legal jargon is hard to really understand.

Question: "What do you think of Family Guy killing off Peter’s boss Angela voiced by Carrie Fisher? Whose next Mayor Adam West voiced by Adam West?"

Answer: I haven't seen Family Guy in years, but that makes sense to not have the character around anymore, even though they could always just have those people move to a new town or something instead of killing them.

Question: "The Simpsons had on a building in the show Disney Google on it, same as the Fox prediction. I’m calling future prediction. Do you think Disney will buy Google?"

Answer: I think Google and Disney are different enough right now that they'll stay separate. Google will buy other companies like Instagram and Facebook and such before having the Disney merge.

Question: "What do you think of Disney going HAM with movies next year? Captain Marvel, Avengers 4, Aladdin, Toy Story 4, The Lion King, Frozen 2 and Star Wars Episode 9 in theaters. And on Disney Channel Live Action Kim Possible and Descendants 3 as far as I know?"

Answer: Somebody wants to make sure they make a lot of money next year to recoup that Fox purchase, right?

Question: "The Nightmare before Christmas is a Halloween or Christmas movie?"

Answer: Christmas movie in my book.

Question: "What is a must watch movie for Christmas for you? Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer for me is a much watch?"

Answer: Home Alone and Home Alone 2, while eating pizza, and maybe Bad Santa.

Question: "What’s your big gift you want this year? My is The Switch for Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu."

Answer: I honestly have no idea. What I really need is money and free time and some good luck, and those aren't really gifts people can give all that much haha.

Question: "What was the hardest celebrity death this year for you? Out the 15 wrestlers as of writing that have passed who was the hardest to see go? I have to say Bruno and Jim for me wrestler wise?"

Answer: Stan Lee for overall celebrity. As far as wrestlers go, maybe Vader.

Question: "With all the wrestler’s death this year you still think Bam Bam Bigalow is holding on to the posthumous spot for Hall of Fame?"

Answer: It could definitely go to Vader or Neidhart, especially if they want to and are able to induct Neidhart with Dynamite Kid, Owen Hart and British Bulldog and just knock out the entire Hart Foundation, but I don't think that's happening because of the Owen situation. Bam Bam makes sense for New Jersey.

Question: "What do you think of Detective Pikachu’s look? Not gona lie if I was a kid I’d be creeped out?"

Answer: Yeah that fur look is creepy, but it's not as creepy as Sonic.

Question: "Why do you think WWE doesn’t try during football season? They tried in football season when WCW was fighting with them, but we all know now they give up during football season?"

Answer: I don't think they try at all anymore, for the most part.

Question: "Do you think Bray Wyatt could be Sanity’s leader and rejuvenate them?"

Answer: I'm actually hoping they go with something completely different for Bray Wyatt that goes in the total opposite direction of the cult leader type thing.

Question: "If you don’t have the channel for Impact Wrestling like myself and could get it when they change channels will you watch? I got to say yes?"

Answer: Nope, still not going to watch.

Question: "If you were a wrestler where would you want to wrestle? I wrestled 09-11 and always said I’d go to Impact Wrestling and be in the X-Division and then win a world title. I’d never go to WWE unless I had creative freedom because Vince says you have autism you’re the new Eugene and that don’t fly with me?"

Answer: NXT. As much as I don't like Florida, I'd hate traveling and it would be better to have a home base, some freedom, be able to work just a few nights and not have to be too burned out, etc.


Question: "Do you think NXT is now in trouble due to talent being moved up? Tag Teams might be an issue?"

Answer: Nope, I think they'll be okay. They have a reputation of being the minor leagues, so if the quality drops a little bit, that's fine, and they still have tons of other talent they can work with between the roster who is still there and the people in the Performance Center who haven't been made true roster members yet.

Question: "Could Mustafa Ali emerge as a star on Smackdown Live?"

Answer: He definitely could. I wouldn't be shocked if he were a staple in the midcard now.

Question: "What will Paige do now?"

Answer: I honestly don't think WWE even knows what they want to do with her, but it wouldn't shock me at all if she became a manager of someone.

Question: "Who has more potential out of the three in order? Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, or Dominik Dijakovic? I would go with Riddle, Lee, then Dijakovic."

Answer: I'd go Dijakovic, Riddle and then Lee.

Question: "What is your favorite Christmas Song?"

Answer: "Oh Holy Night" and then "Carol of the Bells" and then "Somewhere in My Memory" and then "Silent Night" and to round out the top five, either "White Christmas" or "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"

Question: "Do you have a Christmas Tree and decorations for your house? Is your tree real or fake?"

Answer: Fake tree and decorations.

Question: "If you had a boat, what would you name it?"

Answer: Ricky "The Dragon" Steam.

Question: "Do you like The Forgotten Sons? Ryker is the best out of the three."

Answer: They're okay, but I honestly wouldn't be too bent out of shape if Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler were released and it was just Ryker on his own.

Question: "Do you think Curt Hawkins will ever win again?"

Answer: Somewhere along the line, he will.

Question: "Would you rather experience the beginning of earth or the end of earth?"

Answer: The beginning, for sure. You have answers about how life started and everything. At the end, you just see the worst horrible destruction and nothing positive.

Question: "Would you rather have seven fingers on each hand, or seven toes on each foot?"

Answer: Seven toes. You can cover them up and people won't know.

Question: "Would you rather eat pizza for only year for the rest of your life, or just year without pizza for the rest of your life?"

Answer: I'm not sure what this is asking...

Question: "What's the best gift you've ever received?"

Answer: To be honest, I'm not sure, which is kind of sad. I don't do well with gifts. I always feel like I don't deserve them.

Question: "Have you ever had a childhood nickname? If so, what was it?"

Answer: All my nicknames were from specific people. My friend's dad used to call me "Famous", one girl used to call me "Shining Star" cause I was the smartest person in the class, two girls used to refer to me in code as Sweet Maurice to talk about me without anybody knowing cause they had a crush on me, I got the whole "Tony Macaroni" and whatnot deal, but never any nicknames that everybody would use.

Question: "If you could choose your age forever, which number would it be?"

Answer: I'd probably stick at 31. That's an age that you're young enough to be "young" but old enough to not be treated like a child. I just wish I had the same health that I had when I was 17 instead to go with it.

Question: "What are some of your bold predictions for in WWE? Would are things you want to see? Things you don't want to see? Will Omega come to WWE? P.S. ended at 25 questions for a reason. Merry Christmas Everyone!"
