WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week #173

Posted by Wes Keefer Sunday, December 10, 2017
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. Bray Wyatt

He wasn't in action this week, but his feud with the newly "Woken" Matt Hardy is hitting new highs as the two traded video promos.

24. Killian Dain

Dain won his qualifying match and will face Johnny Gargano next for the chance at the NXT title.

23. Johnny Gargano

He took down Kassius Ohno and made him tap. As a result, he will need to get through Killian Dain on his way to a title shot.

22. Mojo Rawley

The Hype Brothers have died and Mojo Rawley was the one to pull the plug. His former partner and him have dived into quite a heated feud over it.

21. Baron Corbin

Things aren't in the favor of Corbin as he has to battle Ziggler and Roode for his title at Clash of Champions.

20. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke came to the rescue to help Orton out of a beating and has entered himself into the major feud. He will team with Orton to face Owens and Zayn at Clash of Champions.

19. Bobby Roode

Roode's match with Corbin was cut short when their third challenger Dolph Ziggler attacked both men in the ring.

18. Jason Jordan

Jason Jordan finally received his spot to shine in an IC match with Roman Reigns. He put up quite a fight, but he lost and is still a long ways from being a top talent.

17.  Drew Gulak

With the recent suspension and arrest of Swann, Gulak seems to have be granted an automatic match against Enzo Amore.

16. The New Day

They lost in an upset manner and it allowed Rusev and English into their title match at Clash of Champions.

15. Dolph Ziggler

The newest face to the Roode/Corbin feud seems to be going into Clash of Champions with the momentum in his favor after ambushing his two foes.

14. The Bludgeon Brothers

The duo beat another jobber team with great power. It would be nice to see matches with a quality opponent to avoid sliding in the rankings.

13. Matt Hardy

The "Woken" Matt Hardy has fully arrived and traded blows with Bray Wyatt through video promos.

12. Charlotte Flair

The Queen put away Tamina fairly easily, but the Riott Squad attacked her once more after a victory.

11. Randy Orton

Orton couldn't win in a handicap situation, so he evened the odds by having teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura ahead of the pay-per-view.

10. Asuka

Asuka put away Alicia Fox with ease and even got a sign of respect from Absolution, teasing a possible alliance.

9. Riott Squad

The Riott Squad continue to dominate the scene on SmackDown, but are starting to get some retaliation back from the other women.

8. Rusev and English

The unlikely but highly liked duo won as the underdogs against The New Day and it got them a ticket to the tag team title match.

7. Samoa Joe

Joe tried getting the better of Roman Reigns again, but ended up retreating.

6. The Shield

Reigns put away Jason Jordan and scared off Joe. However, Dean and Seth came up short against The Bar for the tag team titles.

5. The Bar

With a small helping hand from Samoa Joe, The Bar retained the titles over The Shield.

4. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

Once more, Owens and Zayn defied the odds, even with Owens handcuffed ringside. They were able to overpower Orton, but now their jobs are once more on the line at Clash of Champions.

3. Kane

Kane popped up on the big screen and called out Braun Strowman next week on Raw for a highly anticipated match.

2. Absolution

Pagie's stable took down another star in Alicia Fox, but may be setting the sights on Asuka as a potential member.

1. Braun Strowman

No one shares the stage with Braun Strowman, as he stopped Elias's concert before it could really start. Kane showed up on the big screen and Braun gets his hands on Kane next week on Raw.

Do you think anyone should be listed differently?
