WWE Turn Alert: AJ Styles Turns Face on SmackDown on April 4, 2017

Posted by Anthony Mango Tuesday, April 4, 2017
AJ Styles seemingly turned face on the April 4, 2017 edition of SmackDown. After fighting Shane McMahon at WrestleMania, he came out to interrupt Shane's promo about the Superstar Shake-Up and said he didn't want to leave SmackDown, as it's the house AJ Styles built, and he owed Shane a handshake.

My first reaction: While this doesn't necessarily mean this is 100% a babyface turn, it sure as hell seems like it. So long as they give him some proper people to feud with and they don't screw up the rest of the roster in the process, I'm definitely cool with it. Styles is interesting as a face and a heel and it's all a matter of balancing the rest of the wrestlers out where both he and everyone else can do their best work.

What do you think of AJ Styles turning face? Are you a fan of it or is this a mistake? What direction do you think WWE will take with this character change?
