Future Endeavors: WWE.com Moves Christian to Alumni

Posted by Anthony Mango Tuesday, October 27, 2015
On October 27, 2015, WWE.com updated Christian's profile and officially declared him no longer part of the active roster, stating "he solidified his legacy and left active competition still at the top of his game."

My reaction: For a long while now, Christian has been out of action and there's been talk about how he was not going to be coming back. I figured it was a foregone conclusion that he was retired, although without the fanfare. It seems that's the case. It's good to see Christian get that run at the top, particularly since his feud with Randy Orton resulted in some of the best matches Christian's ever had, and although he doesn't get a sendoff similar to what Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels or some others have had, it's definitely better to be safe than sorry.
