|WWE WrestleMania 2014 Spoilers|
WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista
Ugh. Yeah. WWE will waste a perfectly good opportunity to do something different and instead of having a decent match between people that the fans are really fond of, ushering in a new era for a monumental pay-per-view, they'll take the biggest event that will happen in years and give the title match to two people from the previous era. That means the main event for FIVE straight years will have featured a superstar that was not on the active regular roster, but returned in time for WrestleMania, with Undertaker, The Rock, The Rock, The Rock and Batista. Awful. I have zero interest in this match and I hope it doesn't go on last and people boo the hell out of it.
PREDICTION: Batista wins the WWE Championship.
The Streak: Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
Since the likelihood of Sting showing up and challenging Taker is barely there, it has to go to Lesnar. This should be the match of the night and a highlight amongst a card filled with crap, which is a shame for WrestleMania XXX. Lesnar should look really strong going into this and Undertaker will come out on top. There's no way they can have Brock be the person who ends the streak.
PREDICTION: Undertaker wins.
Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H
This is all but confirmed, as expected. The only thing missing is the graphic. This has to be the MAIN EVENT of the night and take precedence over Orton vs Batista. There's no question in my mind that this has to happen and if WWE doesn't put this as the last match of the night and end the pay-per-view with Daniel Bryan winning, they are idiots, plain and simple. This should be a great match if it isn't booked as Triple H just beating Bryan and then Bryan getting lucky. No ego can get in the way or it will ruin it.
PREDICTION: Daniel Bryan wins.
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
Cena haters will dislike this comment, but I'll say it anyway: Cena deserves better. This is WrestleMania XXX! John Cena is the top guy in the company according to WWE. And he's wrestling Bray Wyatt? Lame. I know Bray Wyatt's made some headway, but it just doesn't seem like he's ready for that spot to me, similar to how Fandango faced off against Jericho last year. Hopefully, they'll prove me wrong and have a good match (like Jericho vs Fandango). Despite how it would seem odd, I'd rather them make this a handicap match with Hulk Hogan teaming with Cena to face all three members of the Wyatt Family. That would bump it up in importance.
PREDICTION: It all depends on how many faces win the other matches. This won't be an event where all babyfaces win the big matches, so Wyatt has a good chance of beating Cena through bullshit tactics.
Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
Remember how Legacy broke up and had a triple threat match with each other? Same idea here.
PREDICTION: Roman Reigns wins.
Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust
Now that the two have lost the titles, there's a bigger chance of this happening than when they were still holding them. I don't think it's as set in stone as most people tend to believe, and I could still see them wrestling in a big tag match, but it's looking more like they'll fight each other. Cody Rhodes needs to go into this as the babyface and win the match, I think.
PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes wins.
So many people are going to be screwed out of having matches this year. Don't hold your hopes up for The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Damien Sandow, Fandango, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, R-Truth, and tons of others getting featured in any way.
Now that Hulk Hogan has been officially announced as being involved, what is his role going to be? Will he simply have a segment revolved around him beating up someone like Jack Swagger of the Real Americans? Will he do something with Piper and/or Mr. T? Will he be the host of the show? Hell, is he going to WRESTLE maybe?
