WWE Legends and Future Greats is back for Season 2—and I’m hyped to see who’s returning and which new Future Greats are stepping into the spotlight. Most of the talent from Season 1 who haven’t signed with NXT (like Tyra Mae Steele and Jasper Troy) or EVOLVE (Leigh Laurel and Troy Yearwood) are back, and we’ve got some fresh faces too—like Harlem Lewis and others you might recognize from WWE TV. We’ll break them down soon enough. I’ll definitely miss Mickie James this season, but I’m excited to see what Michelle McCool brings to the table as a mentor.
This season kicks off with our Legends making their draft picks for their teams—Michelle McCool gets the first two. But before that, it's time for Tyra Mae Steele to remind everyone exactly what she's about.
Match 1: Tyra Mae Steele vs. Nikkita Lyons
Great to see Tyra showcase a bit of her amateur wrestling background—her gut wrench suplex looked clean and powerful. This one was quick, though. Tyra wasted no time and picked up the win with a pinfall in under a minute.Match 2: Jasper Troy vs. Dante Chen
Jasper Troy and Dante Chen are up next, and this one’s even more one-sided. Jasper absolutely steamrolls Chen in a quick squash match, making a dominant statement. After the bell, things heat up as NXT’s Oba Femi appears and calls Jasper out—could this be a preview of something big down the line? (If you follow NXT you know). After the break, we catch up with some of the returning and new Future Greats, including fresh faces Summer Sorrell, Trill London, and Haze Jameson. The group hits the ring for a showcase, giving the Legends a closer look. In a fun moment, The Undertaker tells Shiloh Hill to "dog it"—not wanting his standout star to show off too much and risk getting drafted by another team. Booker T, on the other hand, is all business, urging everyone to take the opportunity seriously and bring more intensity. As the session wraps, the Legends lock in tonight’s matches: Chris Island vs. Harlem Lewis and Penina “P-Nasty” Tuilaepa vs. Dani Sekelsky.
Before the match, “P-Nasty” is in the ring, mic in hand, confidently talking her talk. Dani Sekelsky isn’t one to back down, marching out and getting right in Penina’s face—but even with the tension high, Penina still has that undeniable “it” factor. There’s just something special about her presence.
Match 3: Penina "P-Nasty" Tuilaepa vs. Dani Sekelsky
This was a classic clash of power versus agility, and power took control early as “P-Nasty” dominated Dani Sekelsky with sheer force. Dani managed to rally and caught Penina in a surprise “Hell’s Gate” submission, but the powerhouse fought out of it and quickly regained control. With a crushing pinfall victory, Penina continues to prove she's one of the toughest in the field. A solid, physical bout where everything clicked—and every shot looked like it landed. Before our main event, we catch up with Harlem Lewis and Chris Island backstage for a quick face-to-face. It’s a short but revealing moment that gives us a glimpse into Harlem’s mindset heading into the match—focused, fired up, and ready to make the Legends take note.
Match 4: Chris Island vs. Harlem Lewis
If you've seen Harlem on EVOLVE you know he's the real deal, Harlem comes out with aggression, Chris doesn't back down landing a couple disrespectful slaps that just make Harlem even more aggressive. We see the momentum swing back in Island's favour but only for a moment, Harlem just overpowers Chris and lays him out over and over again, finally getting a near fall. Harlem continues wearing Island down with a headlock and a powerslam for another near fall. Island fights back with some quick punches and a nice shoulder block but gets a bit too cocky in the corner, Harlem takes advantage and lands the "Boomslang" for the one, two, three.I really enjoyed tonight’s matches—great storytelling, strong character work, and impressive talent across the board. If this episode is any indication, we’re in for an excellent season of LFG.
But the night’s not over—it’s Draft Day. Michelle McCool gets the first pick and wastes no time locking in someone with that undeniable “it” factor: Penina “P-Nasty” Tuilaepa. For the men, she goes with a proven winner, selecting Anthony Luke. Booker T is not pleased to see two of his standout prospects snatched up by Team McCool and delivers an animated outburst in classic Booker fashion. He storms off, and just like that—we’re out of time.
This was unexpected and absolutely awesome. We all know anything can happen in WWE—but this took things to a whole new level. Can’t wait to see what unfolds next week on LFG!
