Match 1: Brayden “BJ” Ray vs. Cutler James
The match is hard-hitting, with some real animosity showing between the two. Both had their moments, but the finish comes when BJ reverses a powerslam attempt into a chokehold. Cutler taps out, giving BJ the submission victory. Despite the aggression, Bubba remains unimpressed, calling out both men for putting on a lackluster performance considering how much they supposedly dislike each other. Bubba announces there will be one more match between Cutler and BJ — with the loser forced to leave LFG.
Next, Shawn Michaels addresses the Future Greats. He reminds them that in wrestling, anything can happen — and tonight, something will go wrong during their matches. It’s up to the Future Greats to adapt and figure it out on the fly.
Match 2: Tyra Mae Steele vs. Leigh Laurel
Next up is Tyra Mae Steele vs. Leigh Laurel, with an added challenge — we’ve been warned that the ring ropes will break at some point. Let’s see how the Future Greats adapt. Tyra starts strong, showcasing her technical skills with a series of belly-to-back takedowns and a clean suplex. Leigh struggles to get momentum, and when she tries for a single-leg takedown, Tyra easily counters. The match feels flat for a while, with Leigh looking off her game and Tyra staying steady — but not doing enough to impress the Legends at ringside. Midway through, the drama picks up, the turnbuckle falls off after Leigh is whipped into the corner, forcing the wrestlers to adjust. From there, the pace finally picks up. Tyra takes control and locks in a submission hold, forcing Leigh to tap out for the win.
Match 3: Drake Morreaux vs. Troy Yearwood
The early action was back-and-forth, but the match really picked up around the two-minute mark with some harder-hitting offense. Troy started throwing strikes, but several punches clearly missed their mark — something the Legends at ringside were quick to notice. When the time extension was announced, both men noticeably slowed down. Drake tossed Troy outside the ring and showboated for the crowd before finally following him out to dish out more punishment. As the clock wound down, Troy continued to tire, throwing more sloppy strikes. Drake stayed composed, ultimately landing a chokeslam to score the pinfall victory.
Match 4: Zena Sterling & Shiloh Hill vs. Penina "P-Nasty" Tuilaepa & Troy Yearwood
The Legends were hyped for this one — especially with the unique twist that the arena's power would cut out at some point during the match. Early on, Zena Sterling controlled the action but held onto a headlock for way too long, slowing the match’s momentum. A quick power surge hit at the start, but the match continued without much disruption. As Shiloh and Yearwood battled, the lights flickered again, setting the stage for the big moment. Finally, the lights went out completely. Despite the chaos, the Future Greats stayed composed, although they missed an opportunity to really play into the blackout for extra drama. In the end, P-Nasty capitalized, landing a Samoan Drop on Zena for the win.
When it came time to pick the standout performers of the night. Booker T selected Penina, Mickie James and The Undertaker both picked Zena, Bubba Ray Dudley gave a nod to both Zena and Penina (he wasn’t exactly decisive, but leaned toward Zena). However, when it came to the men's standout, the decision was unanimous, Shiloh swept the votes and rightfully earned the Standout of the Night honors. A well-deserved win after a strong performance from both competitors!
Match 5: Brayden “BJ” Ray vs. Cutler James
Despite the intense stakes, both Cutler and BJ entered the match with a somber energy — understandable, given their real bond. Based on Cutler’s recent appearances on NXT, it felt likely that BJ would stay in LFG. BJ clearly had the crowd behind him, soaking up all the attention. The match itself wasn't very exciting, but BJ secured the win with a crucifix pin.
Afterward, Cutler and BJ met with Bubba Ray Dudley who wanted the other Legends to share their thoughts on who should stay. Mickie James and Booker both felt Cutler should stay, The Undertaker seemed undecided. Ultimately, Bubba made the final call, emphasizing that in sports entertainment, entertainment sometimes matters more than pure wrestling ability. Bubba officially wished Cutler the best in his future endeavors and delivered a blunt but encouraging pep talk to BJ, "BJ is a f*ck-up... but there’s something there."

It's time for part two of tonight’s double-header. Shawn Michaels announces that the LFG Playoff eliminations are officially starting next week— tonight they’ll be kicking off with a special guest, The Phenomenal AJ Styles. AJ immediately challenges the Future Greats, asking them to show him who they are and what they represent. Each competitor will have to prove their identity, energy, and hunger under the watchful eye of one of WWE’s absolute best.

Let's find out our Future Great's Monikers:
Dani The Shooting Star (Raye) SekelskyThe Gold Standard Tatyanna Dumas
The Real Deal Tyra Mae Steele
*Booker isn't pleased with Tyra using Evander Holyfield's Moniker, and Elijah steps up to introduce himself.)
Elijah The Holyfield Warrior
Zena The Oxymoron Sterling
The West Coast Gangster Brayden "BJ" Ray
The Bayou Boy Drake Morreaux
Shiloh The Hell Raiser Hill
The Reaper Jasper Troy
The Promised Child Chris Island
La Diablita Sirena Linton
Anthony Showtime Luke
Penina P-Nasty Tuilaepa
Leigh The Detonator Laurel
Bayley The Bone Collector Humphrey
The Superhuman Superstar Troy Yearwood
Match 1: Zena "The Oxymoron" Sterling & "The Gold Standard" Tatyanna Dumas
vs. Dani "The Shooting Star" (Raye) Sekelsky & "La Diablita" Sirena Linton
Zena and Dani start off the match, with Zena really taking it to Dani early on. After the first minute, we started to see some back-and-forth action. The match didn’t quite reach an exciting pace overall — Dani was bumping like a boss, and Sirena brought some great athleticism when she tagged in. In the end, Zena landed her signature tilt-a-whirl finisher to pick up the pinfall victory.
Match 2: "The West Coast Gangster" Brayden (BJ) Ray & "The Bayou Boy" Drake Morreaux
vs. Anthony "Showtime" Luke & "The Reaper" Jasper Troy
This match was great — all four guys showed tons of personality and put together a technically excellent performance. BJ really took a beating, and it was strange seeing him as a babyface, but he did a great job. Eventually, he made the hot tag to Drake (although it wasn’t the greatest hot tag). Drake hit Luke with the big chokeslam and scored the one-two-three pinfall win.
Match 3: Penina "P-Nasty" Tuilaepa & Leigh "The Detonator" Laurel
vs. Bayley "The Bone Collector" Humphrey & "The Real Deal" Tyra Mae Steele
Overall a fun match to watch — great wrestling and hard hitting. All the girls played their part and had time to show off their skills and personalities. P-Nasty picked up the pinfall win on Tyra with a little help from Leigh.
Match 4: Elijah "The Holyfield Warrior" & Shiloh "The Hell Raiser" Hill
vs. "The Promised Child" Chris Island & "The Superhuman Superstar" Troy Yearwood
This match kept my attention for the most part with some great wrestling throughout. Yearwood landed a big powerslam and followed up with a standing moonsault on Shiloh for the pinfall victory. However, the Bayou Gangsters vs. Showtime Reapers match earlier in the night really stood out more as the show-stealer for me.
Time for tonight's points — who stood up to their moniker in the ring? For me, "The Bayou Boy" Drake Morreaux and "The Reaper" Jasper Troyx were the standouts among the men, while "P-Nasty" Penina Tuilaepa really delivered for the women. Let's see what AJ Styles thought.
AJ agreed with much of that sentiment when it came to the men, but ultimately felt that "The Reaper" Jasper Troy was the standout performer. For the women, AJ highlighted both Zena "The Oxymoron" Sterling and "La Diablita" Sirena Linton as strong showings, but in the end, Zena got the final nod as the top standout.
Don't miss next week as the eliminations begin, someone's journey will end! —LFG
