WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: March 14, 2025
- Promo: LA Knight gets rather quickly interrupted by Jimmy Uso, who wants to challenge Knight for the US title as his Road to WrestleMania isn't clear. Solo Sikoa (with Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga) interrupts next, calls Jimmy a failure, and thinks Fatu deserves a title shot more. Braun Strowman saves Uso and Knight from a 3-on-2 attack and Nick Aldis makes a six-man tag team match for right now.
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: LA Knight, Jimmy Uso & Braun Strowman defeated Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga by pinfall (with Strowman pinning Tonga). Everyone fought some more after the bell and Fatu did three moonsaults to Strowman to leave him in the ring staring up at the lights.
- Interview: Earlier today, Jade Cargill sat with Cathy Kelley in the empty arena to explain her thoughts on Naomi's attack, which left her feeling not just physically hurt, but emotionally as well, so she couldn't trust anyone (including even Bianca Belair after seeing her continue to team with Naomi). That's why she didn't say anything ahead of time. (This doesn't really make sense, as Cargill could've just told Belair and she wouldn't have been teaming with Naomi, but it's wrestling, so WWE's response to my criticism would be "Ugh, just shut up and go with it, jerk. Stop acting like this needs to be logical.") Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez came over and complained about how they had been blamed for Cargill's attack. After trading some verbal barbs, Cargill wants to fight Morgan next week, and stormed off.
- Charlotte Flair defeated B-Fab by submission. Tiffany Stratton came out and fought with Flair after the match. Even after the commercial break, they were still fighting. Stratton jumped off the TitanTron setup onto primarily the security folk (but it's obviously treated as her taking out Flair, who was off to the side)
- Drew McIntyre wants some revenge on Damian Priest after Elimination Chamber and how he thinks Priest keeps benefiting every time he's "screwed over." (It's basically a promo just saying they're feuding, if you missed it, recapping that, trying to give more context to hopefully give it more weight so it doesn't feel like an undercard match thrown together as a backup plan)
- MizTV: Cody Rhodes lays out The Miz immediately and says he only wants to talk to John Cena on Monday Night Raw.
- Backstage: Shinsuke Nakamura wants a US title rematch. Nick Aldis says he's lucky to not be suspended. Damian Priest wants to fight Drew McIntyre. Nakamura's annoyed, so Priest says if he can't fight Drew, he'll fight Shinsuke.
- Damian Priest defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by disqualification due to interference from Drew McIntyre. Nakamura also contributed a Kinshasa for the sake of it before leaving McIntyre to continue to attack Priest with the steel steps.
- Backstage, Zelina Vega wants a Women's United States Championship match, interrupting an interview Cathy Kelley was having with Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre and Piper Niven. Niven says she'll have to go through her first, and we have a match booked for next week.
- Randy Orton defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall. After the match, Hayes shoved Orton, so he took another RKO and nearly got punted, but Kevin Owens came out and pulled Hayes to safety, then ran off.
- Jacob Fatu, also backstage, cuts a quick promo about how he's going to fight Braun Strowman next week.
- Another mystery vignette airs. This one is just smoke on a black background with the number 4. My guess is it's to hype up the return of Aleister Black.
- Gunther cut a promo, leading to the introduction of NXT tag team champion Axiom. Gunther defeated Axiom by pinfall. After the match, Gunther put Axiom in a sleeper hold. No save by Nathan Frazer or anyone.
- Promo: Paul Heyman says Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown next week and tells the booing audience to go fly over to Bologna, Italy on "cheapo airlines".
- Backstage, Legado del Fantasma wishes The Street Profits good luck on their tag title match and plans to take the belts off them after.
- Following the commercial break, Gunther wants Jimmy Uso to convince Jey not to challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, threatening that he'll do to him what he just did to Axiom. Jimmy says they're going to be yeeting at Mania when Jey beats him. Gunther was mistaken in thinking Jimmy was the more mature of the The Usos and says "I tried. I really did."
- WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) defeated #DIY (c) (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) by pinfall to win the tag titles!!
