Singles Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk

Honestly, I'm surprised this is happening here. I know Chicago wasn't listed as any upcoming premium live events to target, but there was still a chance that could've been announced. Even still, for Punk to be going to Saudi Arabia for it wasn't my prediction by any means. I wonder if they convinced him, or if they just ordered him to do it and he's being a loyal soldier, or if the money is too good to pass up. Whatever the case, it's happening.

Obviously, Cena doesn't lose the title here. He'll cheat to beat Punk.

PREDICTION: John Cena retains.

King of the Ring Tournament Final: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes

Retrofitting all my previous opinions here and condensing them, I'll just say Orton isn't fighting John Cena again when the other option is Cody Rhodes. I expect Rhodes will either beat Cena for the title at SummerSlam and that will be the start of the reset for babyface Cena, or Seth Rollins will be cashing in Money in the Bank and walking out with the title as the big angle that they want to focus around for WrestleMania 42.

I'm not interested in doing Rhodes vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 42, mind you, so that idea doesn't appeal to me. It's obviously better than most options, but I think it's lazy and uninspired when they could have set up some new challengers instead of hovering around the same names and doing a rematch from WrestleMania 39.

PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes wins.

Queen of the Ring Tournament Final: Jade Cargill vs. Asuka

Remember, they said that the winner will face their brand's champion, so no hopping over, unless they just change the rules. WWE does do that. But that doesn't mean Tiffany Stratton is going to be the SmackDown champion by the time SummerSlam comes around. Naomi could cash in. It could be as simple as Jade wins this so she can fight Naomi at SummerSlam.

I'm thinking Asuka wins, though, and that sets up a match against Iyo Sky.

PREDICTION: Asuka wins.

Singles Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles

Dom is great. Styles is great. This should be a solid match, even though it'll be swept under the rug in comparison to the other things happening on this card.

I don't anticipate a title change. I think Dom is keeping this belt until at least SummerSlam, if not after. We haven't even seen Dom face Finn Balor for it yet. That story has to be executed before Dom drops the title, as if he's no longer champion, there's no reason for Finn to have any tension with him.

Update: This match has been cancelled. Supposedly, Dom is injured. I don't buy it. I think either he or Styles said they didn't want to go to Saudi Arabia because of this stupid war our dumb government decided to take part in. If that's true, I commend them for standing up. If it's a legitimate injury to Dom, then that sucks and I hope he gets healed up super soon.

PREDICTION: Dominik Mysterio retains.

Singles Match for the WWE United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa

That whole Damian Priest versus Jacob Fatu thing sure was a poorly timed tease, wasn't it? As much as that match would've been cool to see, and I'm sure we'll see it sometime down the line, I'm glad they're just going with the natural flow of things. Fatu against Sikoa is a bigger deal. This should be fun.

There's a chance JC Mateo helps Sikoa win the title, but I'd probably put that at 40%, with 60% more toward Fatu retaining. Yadadamean?

PREDICTION: Jacob Fatu retains.

Street Fight: Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley

Ugh. Either Ripley loses for no reason, they redo the whole Roxanne and Raquel team up to beat her thing they already did, or Ripley beats one half of the tag team champions for no reason because there just isn't anything for anyone to do. Needless to say, do better.

When you've got people thinking the best case scenario coming out of this is Ripley teaming with Nikki Bella against Rodriguez and Perez at Evolution, that's not something to be proud of.

PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley wins.

Karrion Kross vs. Sami Zayn

Remember when pay-per-views used to feature the most important and best storylines? You can't tell me that putting Karrion Kross on WWE Main Event and then doing this match that could arguably be skipped over for Monday Night Raw is somehow what you should put on a card with the name that used to mean "every title is going to be defended on this show"

PREDICTION: The most interesting scenario is Karrion Kross winning. This means Sami Zayn will win.

This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
