This resource tracks confirmed releases, roster departures, developmental exits, contract expirations and clearly labeled storyline firings from that calendar year.

• February 2 - Lars Sullivan was quietly released by WWE.
• February 4 - Steve Cutler was released by WWE.
• February 24 - Big Show left WWE and later signed with AEW.
• March 7 - Christian left WWE and appeared in AEW.
• March 22 - Andrade was granted his WWE release.
• April 15 - Billie Kay, Bo Dallas, Chelsea Green, Kalisto, Mickie James, Mojo Rawley, Peyton Royce, Samoa Joe, Tucker and Wesley Blake were released by WWE.
• May 19 - Alexander Wolfe, Drake Wuertz, Jake Clemons, Skyler Storey, Kavita Devi, Jessamyn Duke, Vanessa Borne and Ezra Judge were released by WWE.
• May 20 - Velveteen Dream was released by WWE.
• May 25 - Adnan Virk left WWE.
• May 27 - Tom Phillips was released by WWE.
• June 2 - Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, Buddy Murphy, Lana, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett were released by WWE.
• June 25 - Ariya Daivari, Arturo Ruas, August Grey, Chase Parker, Curt Stallion, Fandango, Killian Dain, Marina Shafir, Matt Martel, Samir Singh, Sunil Singh, Tino Sabbatelli, Tony Nese and Tyler Breeze were released by WWE.
• July 31 - Bray Wyatt was released by WWE.
• August 2 - JoJo Offerman and Ric Flair were released by WWE.
• August 6 - Ari Sterling, Asher Hale, Bobby Fish, Bronson Reed, Giant Zanjeer, Jake Atlas, Kona Reeves, Leon Ruff, Mercedes Martinez, Stephon Smith, Tyler Rust and Zechariah Smith were released by WWE.
