Here is the card as currently scheduled:

THE BUY IN

21-Woman Casino Battle Royale

RESULT: Nyla Rose wins by last eliminating Britt Baker with some help from Bea Priestley.
THOUGHTS: Fun match, even though there were sloppy moments in it. I'm annoyed that Mercedes Martinez was in this, as I still want her to be in NXT and WWE, not AEW, but it was smart to have Nicole Savoy, ODB and some others in this. Teal Piper was a huge waste. By the way, the women's title is ugly as it looks like an egg.

Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) vs. Angélico and Jack Evans

RESULT: Private Party wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Fun and all, but I have nothing to say about these types of matches other than if you like flippy stuff, watch it.

After the match, Evans and Angelico celebrate with Kassidy and Quen, but then turn on them. Angelico and Evans are definitely on the heel side now, for sure.

A vignette airs for Wardlow.

Jenn Sterger talks to MJF. He didn't want a match on the card because he wants to help Cody out with Shawn Spears.

MAIN CARD

SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt

RESULT: SCU wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match, mostly because of how awesome Luchasaurus is.

Pac vs. Kenny Omega

RESULT: Pac wins by submission.
THOUGHTS: Good match that I'm sure people will overrate to a 10 out of 5 instead of just "hey, that was good" like it was in my mind.

Cracker Barrel Clash: Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc

RESULT: Havoc wins by pinfall over Janela.
THOUGHTS: SUPER fun hardcore match. This was the type of train wreck that I was hoping it would be. Staple guns, barrels and more. Big thumbs up.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson)

RESULT: The Dark Order wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Lame match.

After the match, The Dark Order kept fighting with Best Friends. The lights went out and Orange Cassidy was in the ring. He took out the heels and got a hug from Taylor and Beretta for his efforts.

Riho vs. Hikaru Shida

RESULT: Riho wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Surprised Riho and Nyla Rose will be the match for the women's title. Not into that. But this match was good, so I'll keep my review in that bubble for now.

Cody vs. Shawn Spears

RESULT: Cody wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Very good match. One of the best of the night. Arn Anderson's surprise appearance was fun and I liked the finish. I still think Spears should have won, but I don't think he'll be looking bad coming out of this, either, so it could have been a win-win situation.

AAA World Tag Team Championship Escalera De La Muerte: The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) vs. The Lucha Brothers (Pentagón Jr. and Rey Fenix)

RESULT: The Lucha Bros retain the titles
THOUGHTS: Hell of a match. Pentagon's Canadian Destroyer was super cool. Nick Jackson's dangerous fall was rough.

LAX attacked after the match.

AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Jericho vs. "Hangman" Adam Page

RESULT: Jericho wins the title and becomes the first ever AEW world champion.
THOUGHTS: Underwhelming, to be honest.
