  • Shane McMahon kicks off the show with a talk to the roster. He says Paige is no longer general manager, but she'll be sticking around, even though her role has changed. Yaaaay we still have no actual information on anything that is actually going on because it's easier to be vague until they figure out a game plan, right?
  • Becky Lynch cuts a promo on Ronda Rousey. Charlotte Flair interrupts, then Asuka. Vince McMahon comes out. He tells Becky and Charlotte to suck it up and stop making excuses for their loss. He books a title match between Asuka and Naomi for tonight.
  • Asuka defeated Naomi to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship
  • The Miz knocks on the McMahon Family dressing room door and Vince comes out to tell him Shane can't come out to play, but he'll find him a partner for a tag match tonight.
  • Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe. Blah blah. You need an intervention. Screw you pal. I'm not your pal. Let's fight for 20 seconds and then walk off. Typical WWE promo segment to do the bare minimum to keep a feud going.
  • The Miz and Mandy Rose defeated R-Truth and Carmella by pinfall
  • They specify on commentary that Mustafa Ali has been added to the SmackDown roster. Whether or not that means he's off 205 Live or just a dual-competitor like The Lucha House Party is unknown.
  • The Usos vs. The Good Brothers gets interrupted by SAnitY, who attack both teams before The Bar does the same.
  • AJ Styles and Mustafa Ali defeated Daniel Bryan and Andrade "Cien" Almas by pinfall
