Champsgiving Tournament 2018: Best World Champions in WWE History Round 1

Posted by Anthony Mango Wednesday, October 10, 2018
Welcome to the inaugural Smark Out Moment 2018 CHAMPSGIVING tournament!

For this first edition, it seemed only fitting to discuss the top tier talent in WWE with the best world champions (WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, and Universal Championship) as of fall 2018.

At the time of the creation of this bracket, there were just three people shy of a full 64, so two bye-rounds were vacated and on a technicality, Ted DiBiase was given a spot for argument's sake. All participants were seeded based on their combined days as champion up until the assumed November 2nd Crown Jewel event.

We are on Round 1's set of matches. Cast your votes below and decide what moves on to Round 2!

SMACK TALK PREVIEW AND ANALYSIS:

Vote on your favorites in the Google Form below. Since this round has so many things to vote for, I'm making it a double week, so next week, this will still be continuing. Two weeks from now, we'll begin Round 2.

NOTE: Try to factor in all of their world title reigns and base this on their combined days as champion, the number of times they won the title, the feuds they had, how much they did for the business as champion and so forth. Don't just vote on which is the better overall superstar in their full careers, or which person you enjoy more on a regular basis. For instance, Andre the Giant was a monumental star, but he had a one-day title reign, so there should be no reason to vote for him. Realistically, there's absolutely no argument to vote for Finn Balor over John Cena, as one had a 24 hour title reign and the other is a 16x champion of 1400+ days. Don't just say "I like Balor. Cena sucks" or you'll ruin the credibility of this tournament.

TELL US WHAT YOU VOTED FOR AND WHY IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!
