  • Dasha Fuentes kicks off SmackDown interviewing Charlotte Flair and Ruby Riott in the ring, but is quickly pushed aside for the two to talk without her. Useful. Riott says that Flair was handed everything and the myth surrounding her is something she wants to shatter. Flair says she's had to work harder than anybody else because she has expectations to live up to. When Riott signals the other members of The Riott Squad to come attack Flair, they're interrupted by Bobby Roode, who comes out and....well, we go to a commercial, and come back and he's on commentary. The women are gone. Awkward.
  • Jinder Mahal defeats Randy Orton by pinfall
  • Sami Zayn once again tells Kevin Owens that he'll lie down for him at Fastlane.
  • Dasha speaks to Shinsuke Nakamura, who says he hopes AJ Styles wins at Fastlane so he can beat him at WrestleMania with a knee to the face. Aiden English and Rusev interrupt. English's voice is messed up from Nakamura last week, so Rusev challenges Nakamura to a match at Fastlane, which Nakamura accepts.
  • Becky Lynch defeats Carmella by submission
  • After they talk some trash to each other, Naomi and Natalya agree on a tag team match for Fastlane. Naomi will team with Becky Lynch and Nattie will team with Carmella.
  • AJ Styles says he isn't okay with John Cena's plans to win the title at Fastlane and the supplemental rematch clause being his WrestleMania. He wants to retain the title and fight Nakamura at WrestleMania in a dream match that nobody thought would happen in WWE. Dolph Ziggler interrupts to talk about how Styles would be smart not to latch himself onto the fans, because they will stab him in the back, and that it's criminal that he hasn't ever had a singles match at WrestleMania.
  • AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler ends with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn interfering and attacking Styles and Ziggler. Shane McMahon comes out to say if Owens and Zayn want to fight, they can compete right now in a Fatal 5-Way match against each other and Baron Corbin.
  • Fatal 5-Way Match: Sami Zayn defeated AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, and Baron Corbin by pinfall (pinning Owens after a Helluva Kick)
