- MizTV's guests are Braun Strowman and The Bar. They try to suggest a fifth member for their team at TLC, but Kurt Angle gives them an ultimatum. Either Strowman beats Roman Reigns in a steel cage match to earn a fifth member of their team, or if Reigns wins, they lose Strowman from their team.

- Alicia Fox attacks Sasha Banks backstage and even pushes a referee down in her fit
- Enzo Amore cuts a promo about getting his Cruiserweight Championship back. Kalisto comes out to say the opposite. Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese attack Kalisto. Mustafa Ali comes in for a save but gets beaten down as well.
- Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins retain the Raw Tag Team Championship against The Bar by pinfall

- Earlier in the night, Curtis Axel talked about wanting to fight The Shield. He's told by Strowman to go ahead and find them. Apparently, he did, as The Miz finds him wrecked backstage. When asked about it by Renee Young, The Miz says Axel was never their fifth man anyway.
- Braun Strowman defeats Roman Reigns in a steel cage match after some surprise help from Kane
- Afterward, Kane is announced as the fifth man against The Shield.
