Our pre-show panel consists of Renee Young, Peter Rosenberg and David Otunga.

Dana Brooke stops in to talk about how Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks despise each other. Emma interrupts to say she wants to talk to her. She leaves to see what she has to talk to her about.

Charly Caruso talks to Paul Heyman in the social media lounge. Nothing of note to report on.

[Pre-Show Kickoff] Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) vs. Akira Tozawa

RESULT: Neville retains via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Awkward finish to a decent match that would have felt underwhelming if it were on the main card instead of the pre-show.

Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt

RESULT: Bray Wyatt via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Meh. Not bad. Not great. No real complaints, but nothing to really particularly praise.

Big Cass vs. Enzo Amore

RESULT: Big Cass via pinfall in a squash match.
THOUGHTS: Good lord, please change Cass's theme. It's horrendous. Give him new ring attire, too. It's a good thing he destroyed Enzo here, but those two elements need to change for sure.

Raw Tag Team Championship 30-Minute Iron Man Match: Cesaro and Sheamus (c) vs. The Hardy Boyz

Only about 20 seconds into the match, Cesaro and Sheamus score fall #1 with a Brogue Kick.
Cesaro and Sheamus go up 2-0 with another pinfall.
The Hardy Boys score a fall, making it 2-1.
The Hardy Boyz get counted out, making it 3-1 in favor of Cesaro and Sheamus.
The Hardy Boyz score a pinfall. 3-2 in favor of Cesaro/Sheamus.
One more for The Hardy Boyz, tying it up at 3-3 with two minutes left.
With 30 seconds left, Cesaro pins Jeff Hardy really fast to make it 4-3 and they retain the titles.

RESULT: Cesaro and Sheamus retain the titles with a score of 4-3.
THOUGHTS: Very solid match!

Raw Women's Championship Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks

RESULT: Sasha Banks via count out.
THOUGHTS: I hate count out and disqualification endings on pay-per-views, but the match leading up to that point was great.

After the match, Sasha and Alexa brawl to the stage, where Sasha eventually jumps off the commentary table and lands a double-knee strike on Bliss.

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

RESULT: The Miz retains via pinfall with help from Maryse and The Miztourage
THOUGHTS: This was basically exactly what I was expecting it to be, minus how Ambrose's mouth was bleeding.

Ambulance Match: Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

RESULT: Braun Strowman wins after Reigns goes for a spear but launches himself into the ambulance by accident.
THOUGHTS: LOLOLOL the end of that was great. The whole rest of it was fun, too. Very good match.

After the match, since Reigns wasn't incapacitated, but simply lost via a technicality, Reigns comes out and the fight continues. Reigns puts Strowman in the back of the ambulance and drives off into the loading dock area, where he backs the ambulance up into a truck, crashing and denting it, leaving Strowman inside. Trainers, EMTs, Kurt Angle and referees try to pry open the door.

An impromptu match happens while this is going on. This is FANTASTIC how they're booking this as a distraction!!!

Heath Slater vs. Curt Hawkins

RESULT: Heath Slater wins somehow, but it wasn't on screen when it happened, which is even more believable.
THOUGHTS: Of course, the match itself is nothing to write home about as we didn't see it, but holy shit was this done so well.

The fire department uses the jaws of life to get Strowman out, but he doesn't want to be taken away on a stretcher. He stumbles around and leaves on his own accord.

Universal Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Samoa Joe

RESULT: Brock Lesnar retains the title via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: So, so much better than I had anticipated. Very happy with this!
