WWE Turn Alert: Fandango Turns Heel on SmackDown 5/12/2016

Posted by Anthony Mango Thursday, May 12, 2016
Fandango turned heel on this week's episode of SmackDown by striking his tag team partner Goldust and allowing Tyler Breeze (who had also turned on his partner, R-Truth) to pick up the win by pinning him.

Fandango and Goldust had been teaming up as Goldango to offset the Breeze/R-Truth pairing of Gorgeous Truth, and it seems as though the inevitable has happened with Fandango and Breeze becoming a pair while Goldust and R-Truth will reform.

My first reaction: I hate the Goldust and R-Truth storyline, but as I'm a fan of Fandango and Tyler Breeze, I'm totally up for the two of them being a tag team. WWE never utilized Fandango properly as a babyface when they turned him, and if this makes him more of a priority rather than appearing only on house shows, then that's a good thing.

What do you think of Fandango turning heel? Are you a fan of it or is this a mistake? What direction do you think WWE will take with this character change?
