WWE Turn Alert: Curtis Axel Turns Heel at Monday Night Raw on 1/4/2016

Posted by Anthony Mango Monday, January 4, 2016
Curtis Axel made a resurgence now as a heel on the January 4, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw. When we last saw Axel, he was a babyface and working with Damien Sandow as half of the new Mega Powers (Axelmania) but he's been absent for several months. Now, he's shacked up with Heath Slater, Bo Dallas and Adam Rose as a new stable of heels.

My first reaction: Good. Axel was doing nothing, and now he's doing something. I still think the best place for him is a trip down to NXT, but this is much better than lingering in the house show circuit and not appearing on television. He fits better as a comedic heel that can be jobbed out.

What do you think of Curtis Axel turning heel? Are you a fan of it or is this a mistake? What direction do you think WWE will take with this character change?
