Money has been a gimmick that WWE has used to its advantage many, many times over the years with the McMahon's Millions contest, John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Alberto Del Rio, and of course the Money in the Bank match. Originally, the Money in the Bank took place at WrestleMania before graduating to its own event in the summer. Now, it is one of the most important shows of the year, as it can dictate everything to follow, as evidenced by the amazing few months Seth Rollins has had since winning.
