WWE EVOLVE RESULTS: SEPTEMBER 2, 2026
- WWE EVOLVE Champion Harlem Lewis watched the opening match from the VIP Lounge, wanting a close look at whoever would become his next challenger.
- Max Abrams came out wearing a ski mask and claimed he had undergone work on his face after seeing a doctor in Miami. Abrams said he was not medically cleared to compete in the No. 1 contender's match and announced that fellow MOG Squad member CJ Valor would replace him.
- WWE EVOLVE Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match: Cutler James defeated It's GAL, Harley Riggins and CJ Valor by pinfall. Riggins became distracted by Harlem Lewis at ringside and got into a confrontation with the champion. It's GAL later appeared to have the match won after hitting Valor with the Dummy Buster, but Abrams pulled the referee out of the ring to stop the count. James returned, took out GAL and hit Valor with the Vortex to score the victory and earn a future WWE EVOLVE Championship match against Lewis.
- WWE EVOLVE Women's Champion Nikkita Lyons said she did not care who won the women's four-way later in the night because none of the competitors were capable of taking her championship.
- A video package focused on Zena Sterling and her background, including footage from WWE LFG. Sterling spoke about wanting to become WWE EVOLVE Women's Champion for the people of Ukraine.
- Cutler James crossed paths with Sam Holloway backstage following his victory. The two nearly came to blows before cooler heads prevailed.
- Aaron Rourke and the other members of ID 1.0 came to the ring wanting to settle their issues with The MOG Squad. The MOG Squad declined to fight immediately, pointing out that CJ Valor had just competed and Max Abrams was not medically cleared. Timothy Thatcher intervened and criticized the situation for reflecting poorly on the WWE ID program. Thatcher announced that next week's episode will be an ID Showcase with every match featuring WWE ID prospects, while ID 1.0 and The MOG Squad will settle their rivalry in a Team Gauntlet Series.
- Sloane Jacobs introduced WWE EVOLVE Women's Champion Nikkita Lyons in the VIP Lounge ahead of the women's No. 1 contender's match. Anya Rune approached the area but was confronted and attacked by Veronica Haven and Gianna Capri, who served as Lyons' security for the night.
- WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match: Skylar Raye defeated Zena Sterling, Laynie Luck and Wren Sinclair by pinfall. Late in the match, Raye took Sinclair out with a tornado DDT from the ring apron while Luck and Sterling battled inside the ring. After Sterling rolled outside, the lights began flashing and Vanta the Unknown made her debut by attacking Luck. Sterling backed away from Vanta, allowing Raye to return to the ring and hit Starstruck on Luck for the pinfall. Raye earned a future WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship match against Nikkita Lyons.
- Nikkita Lyons entered the ring after the main event and went face-to-face with her new challenger Skylar Raye. As the two stared each other down, an image of Wendy Choo again appeared on the arena screens to tease her return.
