WWE RAW RESULTS: January 5, 2026
- Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky won the titles from The Kabuki Warriors Asuka and Kairi Sane (c) by pinfall
- Promo: Gunther got slapped by AJ Styles after he was gloating some more about beating John Cena. Next week, they'll have a match.
- Also, Ivy Nile doesn't want to go to the back of the line for the Women's Intercontinental Championship (even though, you know, she doesn't have any grounds whatsoever to be the next challenger, but I guess they just don't have anyone else lined up who can lose)
- Becky Lynch cheated to win the Women's Intercontinental Championship from Maxxine Dupri (c) by pinfall as she held the ropes
- Promo: The Usos said it will be their year and put everyone on notice.
- Promo: Stephanie Vaquer has an ankle injury, but that's not going to stop her. Then, Raquel Rodriguez attacked her from behind and further injured her. She then attacked her again backstage.
- Apparently there was a commercial break segment where Je'Von Evans is now on the Raw roster. Why not show that on the actual program??
- Backstage: Rey Mysterio gave Dragon Lee a pep talk in the locker room about how he'll win another title again. Penta then spoke to Rey about how he came back to help Mysterio fight off Logan Paul and company.
- Liv Morgan defeated Lyra Valkyria by pinfall.
- World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk (c) retained over Bron Breakker by pinfall. Dragon Lee, Penta, and Rey Mysterio had fought off the rest of The Vision. No big surprises like Seth Rollins or anything. [What a lame ending to an otherwise important episode of Raw that could have been way better than it was, but WWE got lucky in that 4 big things happened and those will be the talking points people care about rather than the downsides]
