WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: August 15, 2025
- Promo: MFTs ran down Sami Zayn. Zayn came out and said he's now on SmackDown and wants to go after the US title, since that's a belt he's yet to win. Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso helped Zayn fight off Sikoa's goons. Nick Aldis set up a six-man tag for later.
- Alexa Bliss defeated Piper Niven by pinfall. After the match, Chelsea Green and The Secret Hervice beat down the tag team champions.
- Backstage: Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill argued over the idea of having another title match. For some reason, despite both wanting it, Nick Aldis said there are channels to go through and navigate before setting that up (even though that obviously is not the case, but whatever). Nia Jax interrupted to tell Cargill to take a back seat. Stratton now wants to have her 500th match against Jax to somehow prove she's better despite how she's already beaten Jax multiple times.
- Melo Don't Miz (Carmelo Hayes and The Miz) defeated Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer) by pinfall. The story here is that Miz tagged himself in to get the pin, which Melo isn't happy about.
- Backstage: Kiana James gave her business card to Tiffany Stratton, trying to sell her on the idea that she could be a great manager for her. Stratton said no. James then threatened Stratton that she'd have to fight Giulia, as if Stratton isn't with them, she's against them. Mia Yim then confronted James about her not returning her calls and how she wants next for a Women's United States Championship match. James blew her off some more, saying she'll take that under consideration. Nikki Cross was just in the background this whole time.
- Promo: Drew McIntyre speaks about attacking Cody Rhodes last week. He reexamined the scene of the crime and talked about Cody fighting with him after the disqualification had already been declared. Drew has reiterated that he's going to take the title off Rhodes, as he's the real "nightmare."
- Backstage: MFTs said The Street Profits would have to go through them to get to the tag team titles.
- The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford with B-Fab) defeated #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa with Candice LeRae) by pinfall.
- Backstage: Motor City Machine Guns were talking to Nick Aldis when Carmelo Hayes and The Miz interrupted. Melo wants to know what he has to do to get a US title match. The Miz tried to halt him to slow down. An argument ensued between Melo Don't Miz and MCMG, so Aldis booked a tag team match for next week.
- Vignette: Logan Paul and John Cena
- R-Truth was interviewed by Byron Saxton. He's excited and feels good that he has his childhood hero John Cena back. Aleister Black then interrupted and said he'll see "Mr. Killings" next week.
- In the locker room, Sami Zayn told Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu that he appreciates them having his back. Fatu clarified that he did that not for Zayn, but for Uso, as he doesn't even know Zayn all that well. Zayn considers them cool, but Fatu wants them to stay out of his way.
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu defeated MFTs (Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo and Tonga Loa despite how Talla Tonga was in all the graphics instead of Loa) by pinfall on Sikoa.
