WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: August 1, 2025
- Promo: John Cena thanked Cody Rhodes for knocking some sense into him and to stop being a fake person that he's been for the past few months, manufacturing sensational television and so forth. He effectively turned babyface, but in a SUPER suspicious way, where I was waiting the entire time for a low blow from either person. However, Rhodes shared a beer with him, and a toast, welcoming back John Cena to the light essentially, and...then, nothing. They just both left, Rhodes first, Cena a minute later. This was either a very awkward full-blown ditching of the storyline, or it is setting up purposeful subversion for writers like me who know all the patterns. I'm intrigued, to say the least.
- Women's United States Championship Match: Giulia (c) defeated Zelina Vega by pinfall.
- AAA World Tag Team Championship Match: Los Garza (c) defeated Mr. Iguana & Psycho Clown by pinfall.
- Damian Priest defeated Aleister Black by disqualification due to Black wielding a steel chair.
- Talla Tonga defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall. Post-match, Solo Sikoa called for the cage to be lowered. Jacob Fatu ran out to make the save for Jimmy.
- Promo: Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre crapped on Jelly Roll and Randy Orton, who came out and got into a brief scrap. Heels ran away.
