Episode 3 of LFG places a strong emphasis on personality and promos. The episode kicks off with Team Bubba as Drake Morreaux showcases the "Bayou Boogie", a dance that quickly spreads to the entire team. This lighthearted moment transitions into a montage of classic wrestling promos, setting the stage for the episode’s theme.

BJ updates the group on his status, revealing that he sustained a shoulder injury at a Live Show (an unaired event) and will no longer be able to compete. In response, Shawn Michaels announces a match featuring four individuals who didn’t initially make the cut. Bubba Ray will then select the most promising competitor to replace BJ. Bubba offers BJ a role in helping choose the new team member.

The episode then introduces "Road Dogg" Brian James (AKA Jesse James), who delivers a fantastic promo to inspire the Future Greats. Following this, the competitors engage in raw, off-the-cuff promos. Shiloh Hill lands a sharp jab at Chris Island, calling out his notably large head—LFG. After a commercial break, the competitors participate in a more structured promo battle. Their effectiveness in this segment determines the night’s matchups. A brief video package on Chris Island plays, but it fails to leave much of an impression. Shiloh and Chris engage in a face-to-face exchange, with Shiloh displaying confidence, though his content lacks substance. Dani calls out Penina, “P-Nasty” exudes natural confidence and intensity, while Dani, though needing practice, showcases strong potential. Leigh squares off against Zena in an awkward yet entertaining exchange, bringing humor to the moment, it gave me a good laugh. Drake Morreaxu calls out Anthony Luke, Luke exposes Drake’s relationship with Roxanne Perez (former NXT women's champion), prompting Drake to counter by revealing Luke is dating Maxxine Dupri (of WWE Raw's Alpha Academy). This segment highlights Luke’s commanding presence on the mic, as he delivers sharp comebacks and exudes natural charisma. These face offs are our matches for tonight.

This week we get another guest Superstar, it's 2025 WWE Hall of Fame inductee Michelle McCool. A somewhat forced scene follows, with Michelle teaching Dani the Hell’s Gate submission. A layer of drama unfolds when The Undertaker is revealed to be unaware of Michelle’s involvement with the other teams. Michelle advises Dani to seek Taker’s permission before using the move. This setup plays well, with The Undertaker initially acting displeased, only to ultimately give Dani his blessing in a great moment of mutual respect.

Bubba Ray pulls Drake Morreaux aside and encourages him to amplify his personality, essentially delivering the age-old advice to be yourself, but turn it up to 11. A short video package introduces Drake’s persona, branding himself as "The Swamp Man."

Shiloh Hill vs. Chris Island: the night’s first match delivers strong action. Unfortunately, Shiloh takes a stiff enzuigiri style kick from the mat, rendering him legitimately knocked out. Mickie James steps in, emphasizing the importance of taking care of opponents in the ring and expressing disappointment that Chris failed to check on Shiloh immediately. The remaining Future Greats take this lesson to heart, the other Legends reiterate to the Future Greats, reinforcing the respect required in the ring

Dani Sekelsky vs. Penina Tuilaepa: Michelle McCool joins the Legends for commentary during this match. Dani showcases her agility and innovative style, while P-Nasty embodies the role of a dominant heel. Despite being overpowered for most of the match, Dani gains momentum before Penina again takes control, out of nowhere Dani successfully applies the Hell’s Gate submission for the win, securing a major moment in her development. The match played out well and had a decent finish!

Anthony Luke vs. Drake Morreaux (with Roxanne Perez at ringside): this match is a showcase of charisma and in-ring storytelling. The Legends point out small but impactful details, such as Drake pulling down the straps of his overalls before engaging in battle. Luke leans into his heel tendencies, bringing strong presence. Drake, in turn, steps into his character, making the match feel personal and intense. The bout culminates with Drake executing a chokeslam to secure the victory.

This week’s standouts are Dani Sekelsky and Anthony Luke, both of whom demonstrated tremendous presence and growth. With promos and personality taking center stage, Episode 3 provided significant character development, drama, and in-ring action, setting the stage for compelling rivalries moving forward.
