AEW COLLISION RESULTS: NOVEMBER 17, 2023

  • The TNT Champion Christian Cage kicks off the night. Tony Schiavone is in the ring getting ready to interview him. Cage says that it is a pleasure that LA will get to see him twice over the weekend, as he defends his title tonight on Rampage and tomorrow's Trios Match at Full Gear. He says that tomorrow's match with be Sting's last instead. He asks if Ric Flair will be at ringside for Full Gear and Schiavone says he will. He then talks about Adam Copeland. Cage says that if he hasn't already, Copeland will regret signing with AEW after Full Gear. Cage says that he knows Copeland didn't come here to team with him, he came here to steal Cage's spotlight. Cage is the patriarch of AEW. He says that he had to scratch and craw for every inch, whilst Copeland was the golden boy. He then tells Beth to keep her kids up late and hold them tight, before he will break Copeland's neck. As for tonight's #1 contender's match, he says it doesn't matter because he can beat all four of the men at once anyways. He quotes James Harden, saying he doesn't work within the system...he is the system!
  • Lexi Nair interviews the AEW Tag Team Champions, Ricky Starks and Big Bill. Starks said that he spoke to Tony Khan and said that the four-way match at Full Gear will now be upgraded to a ladder match, as they felt it was unfair that they didn't even have to get pinned to lose their titles in a typical four-way.
  • Miro defeated Daniel Garcia by submission.
  • Lexi Nair interviews CJ Perry and Andrade El Idolo. Idolo is happy with Perry representing her. Perry says that Andrade is the best wrestler, third generation royalty, wrestling since he was 12 years old. That is why she has entered him into the Continental Classic. She also negotiated with Tony Khan for more money and if he wins the tournament, he'll get a bonus as well. Perry whispers something in Andrade's ear and Andrade asks "are you sure?" Andrade says he trusts her.
  • Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King) defeated The Boys by pinfall.
  • #1 Contender's Match: Trent Beretta defeated Penta El Zero Miedo, Brian Cage, and Komander by pinfall.
  • NOTE: Beretta will now challenge Christian Cage for the AEW TNT Championship on Tonight's AEW Rampage, immediately following Collision.
  • Wardlow defeated Evan Daniels by pinfall.
  • Dax Harwood vs. RUSH ended in a no contest.
  • Big Bill and Ricky Starks, who were on commentary, go into a brawl. House of Black enter. All four teams go at it with each other ahead of tomorrow's title clash.
