WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week: #187

Posted by Wes Keefer Saturday, March 31, 2018
Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. SHELTON BENJAMIN + CHAD GABLE [NR]

The former tag team championship contenders have fallen out of the limelight, but Shelton Benjamin got a shot at redemption on Tuesday. He went one-on-one with Shinsuke Nakamura. The match was good, but not as great as their past encounters have been. Still, the duo turned heel and attacked the WWE Championship and his contender. This could lead to a new push them in the future.

24. RIOTT SQUAD [NR]

Ruby Riott head-to-head with Becky Lynch, but was overtaken by the Lass Kicker. The Riott Squad have been less dangerous week after week, but they are at least still maturing in the ring.

23. THE USOS [NR]

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions have quite a test ahead of them. The Bludgeon Brothers are so powerful that they need to pair with their rival The New Day to at least help even the odds.

22. AUTHORS OF PAIN [NR]

The Dusty Rhodes Classic is coming together with some interesting pairings. The Authors of Pain steamrolled through a fan favorite in The Street Profits. They will face the unorthodox pair of Dunne and Strong in the finals.

21. ABSOLUTION [-5]

Paige tried to resurrect her faction's fear by adding Ronda Rousey to the team, or at least attempting to. Rousey declined and took out Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

20. CEDRIC ALEXANDER [NR]

Cedric Alexander paired with his opponent at WrestleMania, Mustafa Ali, on Raw. The two had quite the chemistry as a team and even picked up a tag team victory. After their feud over the title is over, these two could be a threat for the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships.

19. RODERICK STRONG + PETE DUNNE [+2]

The pair of Strong and Dunne has taken the NXT by storm, making it the whole way to the finals to face the Authors of Pain.

18. SETH ROLLINS [NR]

Rollins was able to put tension in the relationship between The Miz and the Miztourage. Miz seems vulnerable, but Balor is still the favorite come WrestleMania.

17. THE NEW DAY [NR]

The New Day has had to get help from the arch-rivals in The Usos in order to overpower The Bludgeon Brothers.

16. ALEXA BLISS [-11]

Miss Bliss will likely not leave WrestleMania with the title, as she has unleashed the monster within Nia Jax.

15. FINN BALOR [+8]

Finn Balor joined Seth Rollins in tearing apart the Miztourage's chemistry and trust in The Miz. Balor then went on the offense and took down Rollins, which he has down multiple times over the last weeks. The WrestleMania match will likely focus on Balor vs Rollins, with Balor probably having the advantage.

14. THE BLUDGEON BROTHERS [+8]

The big men are so powerful and impressive that The Usos had to come to the rescue of The New Day. Even the pairing of the two teams don't seem like enough to take down the giants.

13. JOHN CENA [+1]

In a No-DQ match, Cena defeated Kane, which isn't much to brag about these days. Kane looked weak in his feud with Lesnar and now he is putting Cena to the test in a match. Cena is still waiting for the response from The Undertaker.

12. ROMAN REIGNS [-3]

Roman Reigns is refusing to go down, once again attacking Lesnar and once again being left laid out with Lesnar standing over him. Reigns will probably still going to beat Lesnar, but the build-up is entertaining and making people second-guess the outcome.

11. BECKY LYNCH [NR]

Becky Lynch got revenge on the Riott Squad when she rolled up Ruby Riott in their match. Come WrestleMania, look for more great chemistry between Lynch and Riott in the Battle Royal.

10. RUSEV [NR]

Rusev is finally getting a push towards a title, but he got thrown into one of the more lackluster feuds in this year's WrestleMania: the United States Championship. He could be the dark horse to win the belt, since the other three haven't clicked well yet as the champion.

9. RONDA ROUSEY [NR]

Rousey was faced with an opportunity to join Paige's cause. She declined and showed them why she doesn't need anyone's help in the women's division.

8. AJ STYLES [+5]

Styles and Nakamura have been having a love-hate relationship. Styles came out to Nakamura's corner against Shelton Benjamin, which was just a way for Nakamura to rub it in Styles's face the way he beat Shelton.

7. ELIAS [NR]

The Drifter has returned to Raw since Braun beat him senseless. He is still trying to find a way to WrestleMania, which seems like the Battle Royal at this point. He made a strong case by beating down Rhyno and Slater by himself.

6. NIA JAX [+6]

The rage inside of Jax is driving her down a path of chaos. She took out Mickie James and even made Bliss retreat when she tried to ambush Jax.

5. ASUKA [+14]

WWE has Asuka back when she belongs: dominating. She was booking poorly last week, but took down a jobber to show she is still capable of true dominance.

4. BRAUN STROWMAN [+6]

Strowman has proven he can take down The Bar all alone and doesn't quite need a partner. If he loses at WrestleMania cleanly, it will be a loss to WWE Creative.

3. SHINSUKE NAKAMURA [-1]

Shinsuke defeated Shelton Benjamin in a rare match-up that showed some electricity. More importantly, Nakamura is being to become more cocky towards Styles.

2. DANIEL BRYAN [-1]

Daniel Bryan has the WWE Universe in the palm of his hands since his return. He issued a match, his first match since being cleared, at WrestleMania of all places: Owens and Zayn against Shane and himself.

1. BROCK LESNAR [+2]

Lesnar showed up to Raw again to prove he is championship-worthy. He beat down Reigns again and their WrestleMania match will surely be a hard-hitting brawl with a lot of tension.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Dolph Ziggler - Ziggler was showcased on SmackDown against Tyler Breeze and won via a distracted Breeze by his partner.

Buddy Murphy - Murphy bounced back from his tournament loss by winning a fatal four way match against TJP, Akira, and Kalisto.

EC3 - The former TNA superstar debuted on NXT and is the same cocky, showboat he is known for.

Andrade Almas - Almas snapped and went after Black and took out all of his frustration on his opponent.

Ali Mustafa - Ali teamed with Alexander on Raw and won a tag match. For being rivals, they worked well together as a team.

BIGGEST MOVES THIS WEEK

Asuka +14
Alexa Bliss -11
