WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV 2018 Spoilers and Predictions

NXT Championship Last Man Standing Match: Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Johnny Gargano

It's a shame the Triple Threat wasn't able to happen due to Aleister Black's groin injury. I was really looking forward to that. In my mind, this Last Man Standing match should have happened at WarGames, as the blowoff to the Gargano/Ciampa feud. Now, I'm assuming the Triple Threat gets swapped into that role, or maybe they just go with Ciampa/Black and Gargano does something else? Tough to say. This could have changed their whole idea of what to do with the title going forward.

PREDICTION: I'm 50/50 and I don't know if I'll be able to make a prediction one way or another before the event without flipping a coin.


NXT Women's Championship Match: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane

Kairi Sane defeats Candice LeRae and Nikki Cross to get this title shot, which I've been saying will happen for months. The logical progression was to go from Cross to Sane to LeRae, as Baszler beating Sane would make up for the Mae Young Classic finals.

PREDICTION: Shayna Baszler retains the title.


NXT North American Championship Match: Adam Cole (c) vs. Ricochet

This one is tricky. Is Ricochet the next in line for the belt itself, or is he just going to be a challenger who comes up short? I'm leaning more toward him winning the championship until the next proven otherwise.

PREDICTION: Ricochet wins the title.


NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Undisputed Era (c) vs. Moustache Mountain

War Raiders are clearly the future of the titles, but Moustache Mountain have a rematch clause. Plus, Los Angeles is going to see the return of WarGames, and it makes sense for War Raiders to be in the mix for that, along with The Street Profits, Heavy Machinery and/or The Mighty in some fashion.

PREDICTION: War Raiders win the titles down the line, which means Moustache Mountain must lose here so The Undisputed Era retain.


EC3 vs. The Velveteen Dream

I'm down, and I don't even know who I'd root for, as I'm a huge fan of both. I don't know about this whole babyface EC3 concept, though.

PREDICTION: EC3 wins.
